Flagrant UFO that triggered the "Operation Saucer"

Monday, June 23, 1969. It was past midnight, it was raining and windy thin weak when Dayse Arantes Carneiro, 42, a stay-at-home mom and former typist, drew the attention of the child to a point that shone in the sky without the stars of the north-central Minas Gerais - more precisely between the towns of Guaraciama and Bocaiúva, about 400 km from Belo Horizonte.

Aboard a Rural Willys truck at 40 mph, Dayse noticed an object floating over the trees, 500 meters away, at the foot of the hill. "It was like a fire," reported at the time. "Or a round building with lighted windows at night." The following day, stay-at-home woke up with swollen eyes and sore. He walked to the mirror and realized they were opaque. The feeling disappeared after a few days. Never felt anything like that.

A month and a half later, Dayse reported the case to an official of the Research System of Unidentified Aerial (SIOANI), an agency of the Air Force created in April 1969 and officially ended three years later by the Medici government. The boy looked at the physical and psychological characteristics of the interviewee - considered healthy - and filled a 22-page report, filed under the acronym of classified information from the military.

Today, the document is among nearly 5,000 pages housed at the National Archive in Brasilia, publicly available, detailing sightings of unidentified flying objects, aliens and suspected cases of people "infected" by spotlights registered in Brazil, 1952 2009. You can access much of the material on the Internet.

Designed by Major-Brigadier Jose Vaz da Silva and the aviator Maj. Gilberto de Mello Zani - both deceased - SIOANI sought and investigated all the cases related to UFOs in Brazil during the three years of existence. Why not be a priority activity for the government, the court ended its activities. The Air Force says it does not have equipment or resources to do investigations of UFOs, so it simply makes the record of reported episodes.

This record continues to be the duty of the Armed Forces. The Air Force, for example, developed a standard questionnaire that today is populated by some who claimed to have seen extraterrestrials.

The opening of the documents began in October 2008, after repeated requests from Brazilian ufologists. However, only in late 2010 through the concierge 551/GC3, Lieutenant Brigadier-the-air Juniti Saito regulated access to roles, defining how they would be received, cataloged and archived. As in all countries, UFOs and conspiracy theories go hand in hand also in Brazil. While the Air Force ensures that 100% of the documents were released, the ufologists say less than 5%.

"I estimate that 2% or 3% of all existing documents were revealed by the government," said Ademar José Gevaerd, director of the Brazilian Center for Research of UFOs (CBPDV). "They released less than 400 pages covering the whole decade of 2000. I, alone, produce it in three months. " Fernando de Aragao Ramalho, vice president of the Brazilian Studies Extraterrestrial Entity (EBE-ET), agrees: "With absolute certainty the military hide some of the material." The pair said that for years had access to documents not included in the batch released by the government. The Air Force denies.

"Pursuant to the determination of Air Force Command since August 2010, the Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command (COMDABRA), whose mission is to perform homeland defense against all forms of aerospace attack, spent annually to send all their records of sightings to the National Archives. All records, without exception, are being passed, "he said in a statement, the Center for Social Communication of the Air Force.

The differences among ufologists, military and scientists are as old as the existence of people who claim to have seen UFOs and ETs. On June 27, 1986, for example, ufologist Claudeir Covo and physicist at the University of São Paulo (USP) Luiz Carlos Menezes staged a debate in the pages of Jornal da Tarde. "Seriously, there are flying saucers and the aliens are interested in the Earth," said Covo. Menezes retorted: "Oh yeah? So why not come down for a coffee? "

One of the earliest references to flying saucers of humanity, according to UFO researchers, appears recorded in the Bible. In 60 BC, the prophet Ezekiel stopped on the river Chebar in Mesopotamia, and saw "a wheel within a wheel, all full of eyes, which came down from heaven in a cloud of smoke." The theologians attach the image to a "divine vision".

Since then, the shape of flying objects such as those described by Ezekiel became a classic.In Brazil, the most famous of them went down in history after the "Operation Saucer" - which displaced the BAF to Para to investigate strange apparitions. In October 1977, the city of Colares, near the island of Marajo a mysterious luminous object was seen after 19h when flying a few feet of soil.

In the documents of the National Intelligence Service (NIS) the case appears described as a UFO that emitted an intense beam of light toward people who, trembling, and lost their senses dawn sick. Wellaide Cecim de Carvalho, at the time of medical, Hospital Necklaces, confided to agents of the INS that he had met men and women with small holes in the skin, generalized paralysis and burns. About to send reports to the Department of Health, Wellaide preferred to refrain, for fear of ridicule.

Alfredo De La O, Father of the city, and Ildone Favacho Soeiro, mayor of Lookouts, neighboring district, also reported seeing a UFO: "An object crossing the sky at amazing speed, casting a yellow light and in absolute silence." The INS sent a team to photograph the local population called the "animal".

Armed with a camera Minolta SRT-101, the officers failed to record the image: "a clear spot, like a light, not allowing it to make any conjecture about their form." However, when they returned to Bethlehem, remained laconic, too afraid of being ridiculed by their peers. For days, at dusk, residents continued to organize processions Necklaces, lighting fires and drop rockets in order to scare the "animal". The case gained worldwide proportions and the issue was highlighted on the covers of several newspapers.

Equally emblematic, another episode that impressed ufologists worldwide was "The Night official UFO in Brazil," in May 19, 1986: an air traffic controller in Sao Jose dos Campos detected unknown lights in the skies of the region and warned the FAB . Quickly, supersonic fighters have been deployed to chase the UFO, but no localiz'a them (probably the aliens fled after seeing the power of the national military arsenal on the wings).

However, the Roswell event happened in Varginha Brazil, half a century after the most famous episode of the alien in U.S. history. While ufologists Americans accuse the government had confiscated artifacts and alien bodies, taken after the crash of a flying saucer in New Mexico in 1947, Brazilians believe that ET miner (for adoption, it is good to point out) just stopped to visit the region after having been imprisoned by the Army on January 20, 1996.

UK schools doing UFO crash drills

There seems to be a growing trend among schools to stage a UFO crash, and then teachstudents how to react, as well as to “properly” investigate and report on the incident.

It sounds like a lot of fun, and a great way to fire up a student’s imagination as well as writing skills. Hell, I wish we would have done a staged UFO crash at my school.

The latest “UFO drill” took place Wed, Sept 29, at Sandford Primary School in the UK. The kids were treated to a full UFO crash scenario that included wreckage, police tape, and real police officers. (Perhaps it was only lacking men from the government telling the children not to talk about what was seen.)

What’s interesting is that “police were on hand to show the children how to properly investigate the UFO crash site.” Um, were any of the officers speaking from experience?

A news article at The Weston Mercury elaborates on the role played by the officers:

Teacher and organiser Victoria Shepherd said: “PCSO Wright and PC Church were brilliant. They helped the children secure the scene and talked about what to do in an emergency, how they gathered evidence, how to interview witnesses etc.”

Are UFO drills becoming something of a routine part of the curriculum in the UK? It’s certainly becoming more and more of a common event. Each time, it’s a joint exercise put in place by the school and local law enforcement.

A similar drill took place in Feb of 2009 when Lanchester Endowed Parochial Primary, in County Durham, staged a surprise “crash” behind the school. In Sept 2008 “children from an Edgware school were made to believe aliens had landed in their playground by teachers and police.” Again, each time it was conducted by the school system and police — teaching children what to do in event of a UFO event. Afterward, the kids are asked to write about their experience.

Residents phoned 999 dozens of times over 'ghost and UFO worries'

Officers say one emergency call came from a man who rang police claiming to have seen the ghosts of ''two old ladies in a white Fiesta'' on a dual carriageway.

Other worried calls came from people who spotted ghosts or poltergeists on CCTV cameras and another who said he'd seen a ghost which could ''make me a million quid''.

Dozens more calls were also made claiming to have seen aliens including one man reporting that his wife and dog were being abducted by Martians.

More than 150 calls, details of which were released under the Freedom of Information Act, claimed to have seen spooks or UFOs were made to Devon and Cornwall Police over the past 15 years.

One caller claimed a spectre gave him a ''horrible hairstyle and some dodgy photos. Ghost is Paul Newman.''

In one case in October 2003, the force recorded: ''Caller states he has got a ghost on CCTV. Caller wanted advice on who he could contact as the footage was going to make him a million. Advised to go to the press.''

In July 2004 someone from Newton Abbot in Devon reported seeing a ''ghost driver'' on the A38.

The police log recorded: ''Two old ladies in white Fiesta - come onto the A38B carriageway on the off slip facing the wrong way. Stopped on the hard shoulder, trying to reverse back up the off slip.''

A man in Callington, Cornwall, reported his wife and dog being abducted by aliens, while another said he'd seen UFO over a pie factory in Okehampton, Devon.

Other 999 calls were made to report ''a long, white cylinder thing like a train in the sky'' and ''orange balls moving slowly upwards and in all different directions''.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said most of the incidents were logged as ''non attendance'' or ''routine'' although in some cases officers were forced to respond.

''Our call centre operators take many types of calls and the vast majority are for emergencies or relate to non urgent inquiries of one type or another," he said.

''There are occasions though when a more unusual call is received.

"These are all dealt with professionally by our highly trained staff who access and process them in an appropriate way.''

A new theory has stargazers thinking maybe we haven't found signs of extra-terrestrial life yet because we're going about it the wrong way. Right now, a scientific project known as the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) is leading the way in the search for life beyond Earth.

Their method is to scan outer space for radio transmissions, new or old. They've been doing it for 50 years, and so far, it hasn't really worked out.Physicists interviewed in the Economist say that's not necessarily because there are no aliens. But maybe aliens just don't use radio technology, they propose,

Paul Davies, a physicist at Arizona State University, pointed out thatradio-communications are likely to be a short-lived technology, even on Earth, where people are increasingly using fibre optics to communicate.Instead, Dick Carrigan, a retired particle physicist, suggested looking for other signs, like evidence of tampering with the energy output or pollution.The basic idea is to think outside the box and not focus on modern Earth technologies, which could easily become obsolete.Instead of looking for the earliest signs of industrialization, then, perhaps the thing to do is to let the imagination run riot and ask what technology might do to a solar system if it had tens or hundreds of thousands of years to work its magic,” reads the Economist article, Signs of Life.

Hubble's role in search for aliens

Very distant galaxies have been spotted in the Hubble Ultra Deep Field

The powerful vision of the Hubble Telescope - which turns 20 this week - has expanded our cosmic horizons and brought into sharper focus a new set of mysteries about the universe that is our home.

To those whose science is gleaned from the media, astronomy may seem to be on a roll. And it is.

We have established, in outline, a consensus picture of how, from a hot dense beginning nearly 14 billion years ago, our expanding universe developed galaxies, stars and planets.

We can set our entire solar system in a grand evolving scenario stretching back to a Big Bang - an era when everything was hotter than the centres of stars, and expanding on a timescale of a few seconds.

Only in the past 10 years have we learnt that large numbers of "worlds" exist in orbit around other stars.

Present techniques aren't sensitive enough to find an earth-like planet, but the ones so far detected - mostly as big as Jupiter or Saturn, the giants of our own solar system - may well be the largest members of other planetary systems as varied and interesting as ours.

If there is life on Mars, it is very primitive.

But could some newly discovered planets orbiting other stars harbour biospheres as complex as our Earth's, perhaps with intelligent life?

That question can now be seriously addressed.

There are on-going searches for transmissions that might be "artificial" in origin.

These efforts are privately funded: they have a hard time getting public funding because the topic is encumbered by "flaky" associations with UFOs, and so forth.

Despite the heavy odds against success, I certainly support these efforts, because of the philosophical import of any detection of a manifestly artificial signal.

Even if we couldn't make much sense of it, we'd have learnt that "intelligence" wasn't unique to the hardware inside human skulls, and had emerged elsewhere.

Peering back in time

But let's now enlarge our cosmic horizon further. Our galaxy, with its hundred billion stars, is similar to millions of others visible with large telescopes.

Andromeda, the nearest big galaxy to our own lies about two million light years away. Its constituent stars are orbiting in a disc, seen obliquely.

The nearest few thousand galaxies - those out to about 300 million light years - have been mapped out in detail.

As we probe deeper into space, towards our horizon, we probe further back in time (because the light now reaching us set out a long time ago): we see the universe as it was when it was younger and more close-packed.

And we can now see very far back.

More details

Among the iconic images from the Hubble Space Telescope are those that show a small patch of sky, less than a hundredth of the area covered by a full moon.

Viewed through a moderate-sized telescope, these patches would look completely blank.

But these ultra-sensitive long exposures reveal many hundreds of faint smudges of light - a billion times fainter than any star that can be seen with the unaided eye.

But each is an entire galaxy, thousands of light years across, which appears so small and faint because of its huge distance.

A huge span of time separates us from these remote galaxies.

They are being viewed when they have only recently formed: we are looking back more than 90% of the time to the Big Bang.

In the beginning...

These remote galaxies have not yet settled down into steadily-spinning "pinwheels" like Andromeda.

Some consist mainly of glowing diffuse gas that hasn't yet condensed into stars.

SOME KEY HUBBLE TELESCOPE DISCOVERIES TO DATE

In what was a prime mission objective, Hubble fixed the Universe's age at about 13.7 billion years - later confirmed by other instruments

Hubble's ability to detect faint supernovae contributed to the discovery that the expansion rate of the Universe is accelerating

Hubble was one of two telescopes to make the first direct images of planets orbiting another star - historic images made public last November

Hubble provided the first direct measurements of the three-dimensional distribution of dark matter in space

When we look at Andromeda, we sometimes wonder if there may be other beings looking back at us.

Maybe there are.

But on these remote galaxies there surely aren't. Their stars haven't have had time to fuse pristine hydrogen into carbon, oxygen and silicon - the atoms needed for planets and life.

What about the far future? Six billion years from now, when the sun dies, the galaxies will be more widely dispersed, and will be intrinsically somewhat fainter because their stellar population will have aged, and less gas will survive to form bright new stars.

But what might happen still further ahead?

A very surprising discovery aided by the Hubble Telescope is that the galaxies are dispersing at a rate that is actually accelerating, under the influence of some mysterious force.

The best long-range forecast, therefore, is that the cosmos will continue to expand, becoming ever emptier, ever darker and ever colder.

We can't predict what role life will eventually carve out for itself: it could become extinct; on the other hand, it could achieve such dominance that it can influence the entire cosmos.

The latter is the province of science fiction, but it can't be dismissed as absurd.

After all, it's taken little more than one billion years for natural selection to lead from the first multi-cellular organisms to Earth's present biosphere (including us).

And what about the very beginning?

The first tiny fraction of a second of cosmic history is still shrouded in mystery, because the conditions then - the densities, temperatures, and so forth - would have been far beyond those we can simulate in the lab.

Here we enter a realm where theorists can only speculate.

One of my favourite magazine covers showed a red circle, beneath the caption "the universe when it was a trillionth of a trillionth of a trillionth of a second old -- actual size".

According to a popular theory, our universe "inflated" from a hyper-dense blob no bigger than that, under the influence of a cosmic repulsion 120 powers of ten fiercer than the force that drives the galaxies ever-further apart today.

In the past two decades, the Hubble Telescope (and its counterparts on the ground) have hugely expanded our cosmic horizons - but, as always in science, this progress brings into sharper focus a new set of mysteries which will challenge the next generation of astronomers and fascinate all who wonder about the universe that is our home.

Nearby galaxy emitting radio waves

New York: An unknown object in the nearby galaxy -- M82 -- is sending out radio waves, an incident which has never happened in the universe before.

Researchers at the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics near Macclesfield in UK, who have traced the radio waves said that”they don't know what it is".

The team, which presented the discovery at the Royal Astronomical Society National Astronomy Meeting in Glasgow today, said the thing appeared in May last year while they were monitoring an unrelated stellar explosion in M82.

"A bright spot of radio emission emerged over only a few days, quite rapidly in astronomical terms. Since then it has done very little except baffle astrophysicists," lead researcher Tom Muxlow was quoted as saying by New Scientist.

"It certainly does not fit the pattern of radio emissions from supernovae: they usually get brighter over a few weeks and then fade away over months, with the spectrum of the radiation changing all the while".

They added, the new source has hardly changed in brightness over the course of a year, and its spectrum is steady.

Yet it does seem to be moving and fast: its apparent sideways velocity is four times the speed of light. Such apparent "superluminal" motion has been seen before in high-speed jets of material squirted out by some black holes.

The stuff in these jets is moving towards us at a slight angle and travelling at a fair fraction of the speed of light, and the effects of relativity produce a kind of optical illusion that makes the motion appear superluminal.

Could the object be a black hole? It is not quite in the middle of M82, where astronomers would expect to find the kind of supermassive central black hole that most other galaxies have. Which leaves the possibility that it could be a smaller-scale "microquasar".

A microquasar is formed after a very massive star explodes, leaving behind a black hole around 10 to 20 times the mass of the sun, which then starts feeding on gas from a surviving companion star. Microquasars do emit radio waves but none seen in our galaxy is as bright as the new source in M82.

Microquasars also produce plenty of X-rays, whereas no X-rays have been seen from the mystery object. "So that's not right either", said the researchers who used the MERLIN network of radio telescopes in the UK for the discovery.

His best guess is still that the radio source is some kind of dense object "accreting surrounding material", perhaps a large black hole or a black hole in an unusual environment.

UFO picks up Laconia, NH car and drops 180 feet away

Two New Hampshire teenagers sitting in a parked car were approached by a black-colored UFO in Laconia on March 20, 2010, lifted into the air and then dropped back onto pavement 180 feet away, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

MUFON New England State Director Steve Firmani confirmed his investigation of the case today by telephone and said witness interviews had been completed.

The 18-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy both offer testimony about their encounter.

The two used the girl’s mother’s car and went to a Laconia destination that has not been released.

“We were just sitting there and I looked up at the moon,” the female witness stated. “I saw this weird black-shaped object. And then, I said to my boyfriend, ‘What was that?’”

Both accounts describe the same events. They saw an object coming toward them from the sky and began to panic. When they attempted to drive away, the car they were operating was lifted up off the ground. Both describe an odd smell during the incident.

When the car hit the pavement 180 feet away, the windshield cracked and the air bags deployed.

Firmani said there was no damage to the body of the car, but that there was about $5,000 damage to the underside of the car.

The male witness descibed the UFO.

“I don’t know how to explain this but it turns into a ball when it wants to slow down and move around quickly and when it wants to go fast, straight, it turns into a flat plate with maze box-shaped lined lights. These were on all the time.”

He describes attempting to drive away.

“The front end got picked up and the car could not move. We steered left and right but the car just kept on going up into the air.”

When the car hit the ground, they drove quickly away to the girl’s home where her mother called the police.

Firmani said there were three-inch divets in the curbing at the impact point where the car hit the ground. He said further study would be made to the under carriage body parts, which MUFON has retained from the body shop.

“My name is E and I’m eighteen years old. I live in Laconia. Last Saturday night, my boyfriend D came up to see me and we went out. When we got to (edited), in Laconia, we parked in the back in the separate parking lot. We turned off the car and it was totally silent.

We were just sitting there and I looked up at the moon. I saw this weird black-shaped object. And then, I said to my boyfriend, “What was that?”

He looked up at it and he said, ”If it gets any closer, we need to leave.”

I kept staring at the moon to see if it was just a plane or something. It moved back across the moon. It was huge and it looked like it was zig-zagging or changing shape. I couldn’t tell.

He said, “I think it’s coming closer.” It flew so fast over the trees getting closer to where we were. It felt like it was zeroing in on us. It blocked the moon. And then, we started panicking and driving away.

I thought were were going to hit the Bingo building. We turned left but it felt like we went off of a jump – you know that feeling? like we were on a rollercoaster? And we were in the air. I was trying to pay attention to everything that was going on but it felt like I couldn’t. When I looked up, everything was black. The smell was not nice but it was like something you could stand. It was an odor I’ve never smelled before. I heard absolutely nothing – it was silent. I felt immobilized like I had no control over what I was doing or over my body. I could see nothing. It was like opening your eyes in a pitch black room.

I felt really nervous and scared. I don’t remember crying or screaming. I held on to the center console because I felt like I was lifted. I was holding on so tight that my thumbprint is imprinted on the center console.

And then, when I finally realized what was happening, I was so close to the windshield that my body was going forward with my arms behind me. Everything was black. I heard a loud noise like a horn. Once. And then, the car just dropped.

I hit my eye on the dashboard and the airbags came out. I couldn’t believe what had just happened. I held my face and I looked over at my boyfriend. I saw that his left arm had blood. I said, “Are you OK?” I looked at the windshield and it was cracked, totally, but only on the passenger side.

I could see D but I couldn’t see anything outside. The only thing that made the car drop was the sound of the loud horn. When the car dropped, there was a loud boom. After that, we just drove so fast out of there. The smell went away after we drove away. And I started crying. And I said, “What the h—l just happened?” My boyfriend said, “I don’t know, I don’t know.” I didn’t feel like they were following us.

When we got home, my Mom said that she could hear me from the outside while I was freaking out. I couldn’t stop crying. My Mom said, “Calm down and tell me what happened.” I said, “You’re never going to believe me.” “Is it my car?” she asked.

And I said, “Let me explain,” because I felt that if I didn’t explain it fast enough, it was just going to go away from my mind.

At about 12:15 am, a cop arrived. I told him what had happened while I was sitting down at the dinner table. My boyfriend was sitting next to me – it was then that I noticed that there was no more blood on his arm or his clothing. The cop didn’t believe me at first until he finished looking at the car. He told my Mom that there was no reason for the air bags to come out because nothing else on the car was damaged. He didn’t check underneath the car but we found out later that the underside was totaled. The cop said that he was going to the place where we had been.

I just felt thankful that we’d gotten out of there. But I couldn’t stop crying for more than 2 hours afterwards. My Mom said, “You should go take a shower and get the airbag dust off of you.” But I didn’t want to be alone at all. I felt lucky. And there were no scratches or anything anywhere on my body.

The first night, my dream was that I was a little girl, maybe 6 or 7 years old, in an Elementary School classroom. I was looking at myself as a little girl. And then it was like the teacher called me up and I couldn’t talk or say anything – but everybody else seemed to say something for me. Like everything I wanted to say, everybody else was saying it except for me. They were saying exactly what I wanted say. I have never had a dream like this before – where I am a little girl and see anything about the past. I did not feel right at all.

I am better now. I still worry about seeing this thing again and I pay attention to the sky at night. I really don’t go out at night, anymore, because I’m scared. “

2nd Witness Account:

My name is D. I am sixteen years old and I live in New Hampshire. Last Saturday night I went out with my girlfriend, who lives in Laconia, when we had the following experience:

I was with her around 11. We wanted to take her Mom’s car because it was nicer and we wanted to go look at the stars. We went to (edited) at the back parking lot in Laconia. There were 8 cars already there when we arrived. Little by little, the cars started leaving one by one. We were the last car in the parking lot. Then the lights of the parking lot and the lights of the houses around us and the lights of the houses down the street started to go out one by one.

Then my girlfriend noticed something blocking the moon and asked, “What was that?” I knew it wasn’t a cloud because it moved back against the wind and blocked the moon again. I don’t know how to explain this but it turns into a ball when it wants to slow down and move around quickly and when it wants to go fast, straight, it turns into a flat plate with maze box-shaped lined lights. These were on all the time.

The colors were dim yellowish white and did not change. I cannot tell whether these were part of the bottom or not. It flipped a lot. I did not know which side was right or up on it. It was doing this over the trees across the street from the parking lot. It suddenly crossed the street towards our car. Its size was as big as 14 houses. It was really quiet. That’s when we had to leave. But I did not have time to turn on the headlights.

We put the clutch in to start the car and jammed it into 1st and floored it. The front end got picked up and the car could not move. We steered left and right but the car just kept on going up into the air. My girlfriend was scared and she had boogers coming out of her nose while I was cursing. The car was going up and the back wheels were off of the ground. Then I looked out of my window and saw that the parking lot park lines started getting smaller. Both our windows were down this whole time. The front windshield started to crack and shake and the cracks spread from the passenger side to the driver’s side. It popped outwards like it was pulled out.

Something yanked my wrist. Not aggressively. And the whole time in my head something was telling me “Don’t panic,” or “Don’t be scared.” And it wasn’t in English in my head but I got the meaning. It wasn’t a language – I don’t know how to explain it. And on my girlfriend’s side, it had her half-way out of the window. Her butt was off of her seat, maybe one-and-a-half or two feet? and the car was pointed almost completely straight up at the stars – yet I saw no stars.

Every time I tried looking at it, in front, a white film went over my eyes. It was kind of like staring at the sun with your eyelids closed. I could not hear her screaming but I know that she was screaming. My ears felt like they kept on popping from the altitude. I couldn’t hear. The smell was like unbearable, like you want to close your nose. It was spicy, like pepper-sprayish, and clean at the same time – it was a smell that you could stand but you would close your nostrils because it still smells bad.

When I tried to fight and get my wrist back in the car, that’s when the grip got stronger. It was pulling my left arm up out of the window – there was no pain but it was strong – …. I was trying to fight off the grip on my wrist. My tongue was numb. The horn beeped by accident and the grip got a little loose. It beeped again in the struggle and my arm flopped down in the car. My girlfriend also fell back in her seat and we realized we were still up in the air. !

It took 2 seconds for the car to drop. When we dropped, the air bags came out. We floored it as fast as we could through the town. It was almost a straightaway to go to my girlfriend’s house with very few turns to take. During this time, both of us couldn’t stop crying. We arrived at her house and her Mom asked, “What happened?” All this took place from 11pm to 12:30 am. It seemed like we were in the air for 10 minutes and it felt like it was forever. Her Mom called the police, and a policeman came.

The policeman did not believe us when we first told him what had happened until he looked at the vehicle. There were no scratches or dents or anything. He said that there was no reason for this to have happened to the car when there are no dents or scratches and no reason for the windshield to shatter and pop out the way it did. He had no explanation for why the windshield popped outwards. Also, when I went to open my cell phone in front of the policemen, I got shocked by it.

On Monday, I went to my doctor to get a whole physical to make sure I was OK. My wrist had a puncture wound while my forearm has a cut that is semi-circular and there’s blood on it. I do remember that when I first looked at my arm after I got it back in the car, it was red with blood. But by the time we got to my girlfriend’s house, there was no blood anywhere. On the center consul of the car, there is an imprint of her hand. I don’t quite understand what the policeman said but it was something about the skin of her hand leaving an impression.

Now, I don’t like to feel bumps in the car, or feel anything that trembles like a boombox. I don’t want to be out in dark areas at night. I also don’t like to walk out to my Mom’s car, anymore, outside. “

This plate called 'The Lolladoff plate' is a 12,000 year old stone dish found in Nepal. It clearly shows a disk shaped UFO (top of pic, hard to see from the angle of the plate however). There is also a figure on the disc looking remarkably similar to a Grey alien. Notice the spiral galaxy shape as well, with the alien inside it and the ufo at the beginning of it.

Galaxies come in spiral shapes and throughout India, Egypt and Peru and other ancient sites the spiral shape is very often seen. This galaxy spiral is probably there to tell us that they flew here from another galaxy, buy more probably the spiral was their symbol signifying their knowledge of the universe, as the spiral is the most widely recognizable shape in the universe and in it's creation. The spiral shape also signifies energy.

The spiral is a geometric shape found in many places throughout nature, in many ancient cultures it is portrayed and given great meaning. Two of the most popular spiral shapes however not always circular or curved in shape are the Fibonacci spiral and Golden spiral. The spiral is also well represented through sacred geometry. The spiral holds many mysteries, and its shape is universal, its constant depiction in ancient texts, pictures, and symbology is obviously of great importance.

In 1947 the Dr. Robin-Evans made for the "mysterious land of the Dzopa", travelling through Lhasa (Tibet) where he was granted an audience with the 14th Dalai Lama. On the way to the very inaccessible region to the northeast of the Himalaya, the english scientist was abandoned by his tibetian carriers - they were terribly afraid of Baian-Kara-Ula - and only with tremendous effort did he manage to reach his destination.

After having won the faith of the locals, Dr. Karyl Robin-Evans was assigned a language-teacher in order to introduce him to the basics of the Dzopa-language and so he learned from Lurgan-La, religious guardian of the Dzopa, the history of the Dzopa. Lurgan-La pointed out that they (Dzopa) originally came from a planet in the Sirius-system. There had been - about 20.000 years ago and again in the year 1014 - two exploration missions to earth. In 1014 the crash took place that lead to the accidents survivors being unable to leave earth again.

Dr. Karyl Robin-Evans died in 1974. The above report was released in 1978.

1968: W. Saitsew & Prof. Tsum Um Nui

In 1968 the Russian scientist W. Saitsewpublished a sensational paper which raised a lot of interest in the subject of extraterrestrials visiting earth in the past. Some of the information presented in his paper were based on the work which Prof. Tsum Um Nui did in 1962.

In the borderland between Tibet and China there is the cave region of the Baian-Kara-Ula mountains. 25 years ago, remarkable finds of tablets with writing and hieroglyphics were made there. Several thousand years ago a people whose looks chinese archeologists are only vaguely familiar with, had been cutting phonograph record like stonedisks out of the hardest granite with a set of completely unkown tools.

The 716 stonedisks found so far also have a hole in their center just as phonograph records do. From there, spiraling out towards the rim, are double-grooves. These grooves of course are not like sound-tracks but rather the most peculiar writing-system which has ever been found in China and possibly even the world.

It took archeologists and scientists over two decades to decipher it. The contents are so fantastic that the academy of pre-history in Beijing didn’t want to publish the report of the scientist Prof. Tsum Um Nui at first.

Backed by four colleagues, archeologist Tsum Um Nui stated:

“the groove-writing tells of aerial vehicles which, according to the stonedisks, existed 12.000 years ago”.

In one place it says literally:

“The Dropa came down from the clouds with theirairgliders. Ten times the men, women and children of the Kham hid in the caves until sunrise. Then they understood the signs and saw that the Dropa came in peace this time.”

Finds of the Dropa and Kham races have been made earlier already in these mountain caves. Archeologists were and still are unable to ethnologically assign these only up to 4 ft. 4 in. tall humans. There are no similarities with theChinese, Mongols or Ribetans. One could of course suggest that a few thousand years ago aKham literate was playing a joke, or that it was mere superstition when he was talking about aircrafts.

But then, what does one do about the statement, all sensations excluded, reported in other groove-hieroglyphics of a great mourning about the own airfleet’s destruction during landing in the very inaccessible mountains and the lack of means to rebuild it.

The hieroglyphics of Baian-Kara-Ula appear to be so mysterious to the Chinese archeology that only very careful scientific use has been made of them. On one occasion a sensational discovery had been made. The disks contain a lot of cobalt and other metals.

When testing a disk with an oscillograph a surprising oscillation rhythm was discovered, just as if the disks with their groove-writing had once been charged or had functioned as electrical conductors. Nobody can tell what’s behind these12.000 year old stonedisks.

Assumptions would be too risky and not objective enough. But one is reminded of the ancient chinese tale of the small and slender yellow people who came from the clouds and were shunned by everyone due to their ugliness – large, wide heads and very slender bodies – and hunted by the “men with the quick horses” (Mongols?).

In fact there had been finds of grave – and skeleton remains in the caves from 12.000 years ago and it’s also a fact that these finds, classified as remains of the Dropa and Kham race, carried the signs of a small body frame and very large heads.

The very first archeological reports tell of an extinct mountain gorilla species. But has anyone heard of ordered monkey-graves and writing- tablets? In 1940 the archeologist Chi Pu Tei was widely mocked at for making such a claim. But Chi Pu Tei defended himself by declaring that the stonedisks had been added to the caves by later cultures.

The Dropa Stones

The story of one of the most mysterious archaeological finds of all time.

The story of the Dropa Stones, or more accurately the Dropa Discs begins in the summer of 1938, when a Chinese archaeological expedition begins mapping a series of interlocking caves in a part of the Himilayan Mountains called the Baian Kara Ula Mountains, between the border that divides China and Tibet. The expedition was being led by a Dr. Chi Pu Tei, when they stumbled across a remarkable find. In some of the strange caves Chi Pu Tei, a professor of archaeology at Beijing University, and his students were on an expedition to explore a series of caves in the pathless Himalayan mountains of the remote Bayan-Kara-Ula in Qinghai on the border of China and Tibet. The caves may have been artificially carved to be a system of tunnels and underground storerooms. The walls were squared and glazed, as if cut into the mountain with great heat. There were there neat lines of graves, and buried in these graves were the remains of a strange people. Averaging about 4 feet in height, they had long spindly limbs and round, large oversized heads. The researchers speculated that they were the remains of apes, but who ever heard of apes burying apes ? . More recently it has been suggested that these are the remains of aliens, grey type beings, as we shall see why. As well in other caves there were discovered cave drawings, pictograms of the heavens. The drawings have been carbon dated as being between 10 and 12 thousand years old (reportedly). Then a researcher stumbled across a strange, hand crafted stone disc. It was 9 inches in diameter (approximately), with a 3/4 inch perfectly round
hole in the center of the disc.

This disc was also found to have a “groove” spiraling outward from the center, tightly wound like a Fred Flintstone phonograph album. However, upon further inspection, the groove was found to be no groove at all, but rather a continuous line of written characters or hieroglyphics, unlike any ever seen before. The writing was almost microscopic. In all, 716 of these discs were recovered, ranging in size from several inches to several feet. Nevertheless, the discs and their undeciphered messages sat in the basement of Beijing University. At his point I would like to make two sidenotes. 1. There are unsubstantiated reports (at this time) that the chambers the skeletons, pictograms and discs were in were squared off and gave the appearance of having been created by intense heat melting them. The second one is I personally do not feel that the age of the drawings on the walls can confirm the age of the discs conclusively..

There may have been attempts to decipher the writing between the time they were discovered and 1962, when another Chinese scientist claimed to have unraveled the mystery of the inscriptions. Dr. Tsum Um Nui claimed to do just that, and if his findings are correct, the discs describe possibly our planets first encounters with an alien civilization. Yet the fact is, the stones may well be almost 12,000 years old, and many of the characters were either worn away or were hardly discernable. Yet Dr. Nui transcribed the characters to paper, and after much research, claimed to have decoded the messages. He said the story on the disc describe an alien spaceship crash landing in the mountains, and the occupants initially being met with fear by the tribe known as the Hams. They told the story of the crash-landing of the Dropa spaceship and the killing of most of the survivors by local people. He goes on to say that eventually the aliens made peace with the Hams. According to Tsum Um Nui, one of the lines of the hieroglyphs reads, “The Dropas came down from the clouds in their aircraft. Our men, women and children hid in the caves ten times before sunrise. When at last they understood the sign language of the Dropas, they realized that the newcomers had peaceful intentions . . . .” Another section expresses “regret” by the Ham that the aliens’ craft had crash-landed in such a remote and inaccessible mountain range and that there had been no way to building a new one to enable the Dropas to return to their own planet. Dr. Tsum’s report supposedly appeared in a professional journal in 1962. He was subsequently ridiculed to the point of self-imposed exile in Japan, where he died. Interestingly enough, the isolated area today is inhabited by two tribes of people who call themselves the Ham and the Dropa. They have an average height of 4 feet 2 inches and weigh usually between 38 and 52 pounds. They are yellow skinned with thin bodies and disproportionately large heads. They have very little body hair and have blue irises, unlike most Asians. Make what of it you will, I however doubt that the inhabitants of that area would have been able to reproduce offspring if the original Dropa were indeed alien, which makes me wonder of where their true origins came from. There is also a report that a Russian scientist named W. Saitsew republished the findings of Dr. Nui in 1968. Physically, the stones contained cobalt and other metals, which makes one wonder how primitive people could have inscribed the minute hieroglyphics on such a hard substance.He also tested them

in an oscillograph that produced some more unusual findings. A surprising oscillation rhythm was recorded, as though the discs were once electrically charged or had functioned as electrical conductors. Whatever the true nature of the discs, wherever they came from, they represent a unique challenge to anthropology. If they are man made, how were primitives able to inscribe the discs with such small characters? And if they are indeed the product of extra terrestrials, how profound is that discovery to man kind? If the inhabitants are from under the surface of this planet, why were the “clues” left there? At the very least, the Dropa Stones remain for now one of the greatest mysteries of the unexplained.

Forgotten Asian UFO files found in Roswell, New Mexico

This last week Britain released government files on UFO sightings containing sketches of unexplained objects, and I happened to be on vacation in Roswell, New Mexico -- famous for being the terrestrial home of all things extra. Inspired to do some alien hunting, I hit up Roswell's UFO Museum and Research Center to search for some Asian UFO files.

Asia has a rich UFO sighting history dating back centuries, including stories of aliens visiting the Great Wall of China, and more recently video footage of strange objects in the skies -- and I wanted to see what the museum had hidden away in dusty corners that could add to Asia's own UFO lore.

But why hunt for Asian UFO sighting reports in Southwest America? Because Roswell, New Mexico is the UFO capital of the world. The small American city (population 48,000) experienced what many believe is the most significant UFO event of the 20th century when in July of 1947 a flying saucer supposedly crashed on a farmer's ranch, and alien bodies were recovered.

Ever since the incident at Roswell, UFO-ologists and enthusiasts have made Roswell their Mecca, with around 100,000 people from around the world visiting in July of every year for the UFO festival celebrating the 1947 Roswell UFO incident and UFOs in general.

The UFO Museum and Research Center features a complete history of the Roswell crash and the ensuing U.S. government claims and reports involving weather balloons and dummies falling from the sky. It also features a complete research center with just about every UFO report, periodical, magazine and sighting ever been produced or recorded.

At the UFO Research Center, I found two file cases containing Asian UFO magazines and reports dating back to 1955. Some of the stories describe sightings by Thai airforce pilots or strange lights over Japan, while others suggested we puny humans try our best to appease our otherworldly overlords because our ancestors performed intercourse with aliens.

Just like believing in UFOs, its up to you to decide if some of these stories are real, fabricated, insane or natural phenomenon.

The UFO X-Conference 2010 is being held at the National Press Club, Washington DC on May 7th - 9th. The event is hosted by Cheryll Jones, television journalist and former CNN News, George Noory of Coast to Coast AM will also be there.

Is the US Goverment withholding information about extraterrestrials present today in the human race - will disclosure take place in the Obama administration? This will be discussed at the conference two blocks from the White House.

The conference will include lectures, a speakers cocktail party and an awards banquet. There will be a special luncheon party with George Noory who says that it is not just about lights in the sky, it is about lies on the ground.

Some of the top speakers in the world will be at the event so you can be sure you will be listening to the best information available in the world. Is there really a cover-up about UFO's and ET's?

Iceland Volcano Cam catches a UFO

The Iceland Volcano Cam has caught a UFO flying at very high speeds through the picture. This volcano had been under ice for years before its recent eruption. The volcano's ejection has filled the entire Atlantic seaboard stopping nearly all flights out of the UK. About 16,000 flights were canceled.

This evidence is significant, as a flying object of this type could not possibly be a terrestrial craft. However, it seems highly likely that an extra terrestrial scout (perhaps from space) would want to take a closer look.

Many stories have been told of UFOs being seen near nuclear weapons facilities and other highly unstable environments on earth. While there are many stories of abduction horrors, this seems to give us ample evidence that at least some of these extra terrestrial visitors are benevolent in nature and our looking out for our best interests.

Sheep Deaths, Experiments Linked To UFOs

Shropshire, United Kingdom (AHN) - Attacks on sheep have left residents in Shropshire to believe aliens are causing the unexplained occurrences. Farmers in the rural area say they've found their animals dead after apparent “experiments.”

UFO experts are linking the animal mutilations to strange orange lights in the sky. Some of the dead sheep have been found with their brains and eyes removed.

Phil Hoyle, 53, has spent nearly a decade investigating the strange deaths of the animals and said that the UFOs traverse a 50-mile "corridor" between Shrewsbury and Powys.

Hoyle and 15 members of the Animal Pathology Field Unit claim to have witnessed the objects engaging in unexplained behavior while working during the night at a Welsh hill farm near Radnor Forest. Further adding to the fears are reports that these witnesses say sheep were zapped by two of the strange objects.

Following the incident, farmers in the area reported the disappearance of animals or deaths with bizarre injuries.

UFO phenomenon is emblematic of humanity’s loss of control of Earth

There has been much debate over what Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) represent. Some researchers suggest that UFOs are some kind a sophisticated airborne craft which can be attributed to clandestine experimental technology by militaries. Other, often ridiculed researchers, suggest that at least a portion of these skyfaring craft, are of extraterrestrial origin.

Arguably, both groups illicit a broader question. Who controls Earth and the skies which surround it? Do we as a human beings control our planet as “masters in our own house”? If so, shouldn’t we be consulted and broadly aware of the identified purpose and nature of such activities? Therefore, the “UFO phenomenon” could be regarded as emblematic of a planet where the pleas of humanity for the affirmation of a substantive mix of human rights; operations of social justice, and for environmental protection, appear to be frustrated.

Some people have systematically disregarded the voluminous testimony and witnesses of alien abductions associated with at least some UFO sightings. Those people who disregard such testimony often point to the lack of an open public declaration by either “the aliens” themselves or by Earthbound governments of the existence of such aliens. In the absence of such an official declaration, the imputation is that existence of such aliens, must therefore be regarded as the rantings of either “crazy”, misguided or intoxicated individuals.

However, we as human beings have not asserted our sovereignty over our own planet. Through capitalism, humans appear to have voluntary surrendered our planet to control by possibly alien entities. The capitalism which is destroying our planet, indeed was being spawned when pre-Biblical era Pagan Gnostics detected a regressive alien intrusion. Could capitalism itself be part of an alien agenda to divest control of our planet away from us, as humans?

It was Dr. Michael Salla who developed a typology on the existence of Manipulative and also of Ethical Extraterrestrials. Manipulative Extraterrestrials in this typology, allegedly collaborate with human elites to perpetuate the enslavement of humankind, in operations where these entities treat human kind as laboratory specimens. If such Manipulative Extraterrestrials are parasitic, as ancient Pagan Gnostics suggested, as per documentation by Dr. John Lash, official disclosure would not be opportune until a point in time when such “disclosure” would serve the aliens, rather than humanity.

‘Ethical’ Extraterrestrials would not want to officially seek to declare their presence until we, humans, having affirmed the control over our own planet have collectively elevated our consciousness to a level which such a declaration would not throw the planet in a further state of chaos. The generation of such chaos, could expedite the oppression of humanity by “regressive interests” at a time when the human population would not have a sufficiently elevated consciousness to assert a collective expression of human consciousness that accommodates free will.

Dr. John’s Lash’s critical research on the Pagan Gnostics, testified to the existence of Manipulative Extraterrestrials which infiltrated the human psyche in a manner that could influence how we perceive such entities. If that were true, then what humanity in part may be perceiving is not necessarily a “superior” technology, but at least a “unknown” technology that may be exploiting our ignorance, with the intent to control and shape human destiny in a manner that is contrary to the affirmation of human free will.

UFOs may be a trivial matter. On the other hand, based upon Pagan Gnostic insight, the same “unknown” technology which manifests UFOs many be manifesting and executing a clandestine agenda that is worth greater human attention.

Based upon Pagan Gnostic insight our very identities of ourselves as human beings may have been manipulated in order to condition our perpetuated disenfranchisement.

Close encounter in the woods as 1979 UFO mystery is investigated again

On a chilly day last month, UFOlogist Ron Halliday and spiritualist medium Gary Gray left their car by the M8 in Livingston, West Lothian, and trudged up Dechmont Law. They were following in the footsteps of forestry worker Robert, or Bob, Taylor, who, in November 1979 maintained he saw an alien spacecraft in a clearing within the forest nearby. Halliday and Gray where there to try and pick up psychic remnants from the encounter and work out just what happened that lonely November morning.
The Dechmont Woods Encounter, as it became known, remains of interest because of the reliability of the witness testimony, and also because it was the first suspected UFO case ever to be investigated by police.
Taylor was checking up on some saplings in the forest that day, when he arrived at a small clearing. There he says he saw a circular object, six meters in diameter, hovering above the forest floor. It was metallic and semi-transparent, and as he watched two smaller spheres detached themselves from the main object and floated towards him. He felt something grabbing his legs as the two spheres took hold of him and began to drag him closer to the “mother ship”. An acrid stench hissed out from the spheres and Taylor began to choke. As he was dragged closer he lost consciousness.
He awoke 20 minutes later. The clearing was now empty. Unable to talk, and covered in scratches, he dragged himself to his car and managed to drive home where his wife, disturbed by his condition, called the police. They visited the scene, convinced that Taylor had been assaulted by someone unknown, and found heavy indentations on the floor of the clearing. Having carefully checked the rest of the crime scene, they declared themselves “completely baffled”. They took away his trousers for forensic analysis, but could not determine what had made the holes in them, or what had attacked Taylor.
Both Halliday and Gray re-traced the forestry worker’s journey in the hope of picking up something from the site that might give them clues about what had happened. As they drew closer to the clearing, overgrown and less open than it had been in 1979, Gray began to suffer chest pains and heavy breathing. This, he says, was him beginning to pick up Taylor’s vibrations, experiencing through him the emphysema that eventually killed Taylor many years after the event.
Then Gray was drawn to a mound, where he says he felt the full impact of what Taylor had experienced that day. It began with static and vibrations. “My feet were stuck to the ground and the pain in my legs was tremendous,” says Gray. The pain, Halliday later told him, was right where Taylor had been pinned and grabbed by the two spheres.
Frozen in place, Gray let Taylor’s vibrations take him over.
“I have never experienced the fear of God like that before,” he says. “Never in any of my haunting or poltergeist experiences. It was an energy that I have never experienced before.”
Halliday found the visit to the site fascinating. Although not psychic himself, he grew up around a grandmother who was “forever seeing ghosts round the house”. He had previously met Taylor and was struck by the man’s demeanour. “He never changed his story. He thought it was an amazing experience, but he didn’t dwell on it.
“Bob seemed to see something out of this world. Where it came from, a craft from miles and miles away or from another dimension, who knows?”
Halliday believes that whatever happened at Dechmont Law, it was centered around the mound. It is here, he says, that the energy emanated and which attracted whatever it was to the clearing.
Gray can’t add much more, having felt Taylor’s fear, but not seeing what he saw. However, he is in no doubt that it is a place of interest. “There is something different to the energy here,” he explains. “It is from a different dimension, not from this world or the next.”
Neither Halliday nor Gray can say what happened in 1979. But they are both convinced of one thing. “Whatever happened here,” says Gray, “it has happened before and after. It is very much a live place of interest to something.”

We finally have a recovery of nuclear DNA from the Starchild!

This past weekend I met with the geneticist working on the Starchild's DNA. He explained how he can now prove the Starchild is not entirely human, which has been our position for years. Now it is no longer a question of "if," but of "when" and "how" we spread this astounding new reality beyond the mailing list. First, though, let me bring the list's newcomers up to speed.
In 2003 we had a DNA analysis that used human-only primers to recover the Starchild's mitochondrial DNA, the DNA outside the nucleus, which comes from the mother and her genetic line. That meant its mother was human. But we could not recover its nuclear DNA, which comes from both mother and father, which meant its father was not a human. Unfortunately, with the recovery technology of 2003 we couldn't prove what he was, which left us in scientific limbo. The "no result" from the search for the nuclear DNA clearly meant Dad wasn't human, but we could not prove that fact beyond all possible doubt.Now, in 2010, there have been many improvements in the recovery process, and those improvements have been applied to the Starchild skull with the stunning result you see below. This is a gel sheet that shows a clear recovery of its nuclear DNA, which could not be done in 2003.The next two screen shots are taken from the national genetic database at the National Institute of Health, NIH. That public-access database is a centralized repository of all genetic information generated by geneticists all over the world, and now covers essentially all living organisms on Earth, from various kinds of viruses and bacteria, to various kinds of crustaceans and fish, to all kinds of animals and plants, including great apes and humans. For many species, humans included, there are already nucleotide sequences covering entire genomes. Therefore, sequences from the Starchild's DNA can be directly compared against this vast database to look for any matches. In one such comparison below, you see the text below the blue line at the bottom (if you can read it, sorry it's so fuzzy) that 265 base pairs (a good length) of recovered Starchild nuclear DNA matches perfectly with a gene on human chromosome 1. This verifies beyond any degree of doubt that some of the nuclear DNA seen in the gel sheet is from a human being.

Please understand that this result has now been verified several times, and a few more different fragments have been identified that cannot be matched in this database to anything known. Despite that fact, mainstream skeptics will be obligated by their positions to try to say it's some kind of gibberish or some kind of mistake because in their world view it simply can't be true.

Luckily, their bleating protests can be easily overcome with continued repetition of the result, finding more and more similar fragments in the library that will be created from the Starchild's DNA, which is what the geneticist is confident will happen over the next weeks and months---nothing but verification that a significant part of the Starchild's genome is not found on Earth.

I should add that I still can't reveal the name of the geneticist or where he works until we are ready to formally present his results to the world. However, trust me, he is a well-established professional and his facility is large and very credible. They don't want to be bombarded by media until they are prepared for it, and neither do I for that matter. Just know that you are a part of the "inner circle" of those who have put your faith in a dream that is now coming true.

Two more issues of importance:

](1) I still don't know where the recent "MonsterQuest" episode "Lizard Monster" can be viewed on the internet by people outside the U.S. If anyone knows how that can be found, please let me know and I'll share with the list. Thanks!

(2) The expenses for materials doing our research has now outstripped the amount donated by the list. It is now coming out of my pocket and I could use some help to bridge that gap. However, look on the bright side. This should be the last time I ever have to ask for your help in this way. ;-)

Four witnesses report two UFOs over Pennsylvania morning sky

Four Pennsylvania witnesses report two UFO over morning skies on March 17, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.
The first bright light they noticed caught their attention because it was "moving forward and reversing directions to fly back where it was just at and also, hovering. It was moving in smooth fluid motions, not in a jerky manner."

They also report a flash from this object that was "very bright and constant."

They then noticed a second bright light very close to the first object that "seemed to be moving in a circular or looping motion."

MUFON reports 12 UFO sightings from Pennsylvania so far in March 2010. There were 9 reports in February.

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Pennsylvania MUFON State Director John Ventre investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

PA, March 17, 2010 - Myself and 3 other men saw 2 unexplained "lights" in the sky that flew around and were silent. MUFON Case # 22368.
Myself and 3 other men were cleaning up a lawn for spring, there had been a lot of geese flying overhead in the morning and I was looking up often to locate flocks.

As I was scanning the sky I noticed a very bright light that was moving forward and reversing directions to fly back where it was just at and also, hovering. It was moving in smooth fluid motions, not in a jerky manner.

The flash from this object was very bright and constant. We were watching this object for a couple of minutes as it was moving about the sky.

All of a sudden, we noticed another bright light in the sky fairly close to the first one sighted. The second object seemed to be moving in a circular or looping motion.

Get your binoculars ready: Equinox Sky Show TONIGHT!

March 19, 2010: When the sun sets on Saturday, March 20th, a special kind of night will fall across the Earth. It's an equal night.

Or as an astronomer would say, "it's an equinox." It's the date when the sun crosses the celestial equator heading north. Spring begins in one hemisphere, autumn in the other. The day and night are of approximately equal length.

To celebrate the occasion, Nature is providing a sky show.

It begins as soon as the sky grows dark. The Moon materializes first, a fat crescent hanging about a third of the way up the western sky. Wait until the twilight blue fades completely black and you will see that the Moon is not alone. The Pleiades are there as well.

The Moon and the Pleiades are having a close encounter of rare beauty. There's so little space between the two, the edge of the Moon will actually cover some of cluster's lesser stars. According to David Dunham of the International Occultation Timing Association, this is the best Moon-Pleiades meeting over the United States until the year 2023.

The Pleiades are a cluster of young stars some 440 light years from Earth. They formed from a collapsing cloud of interstellar gas about 100 million years ago. By the standards of astronomy, that's really young. The Earth under your feet is almost 50 times older. Dinosaurs were roaming our planet long before the Pleiades popped into being.

Only about seven of the Pleiades are visible to the unaided eye. The "Seven Sisters" are Sterope, Merope, Electra, Maia, Taygete, Celaeno and Alcyone, named after daughters of the mythological Greek god Atlas. Together, they form the shape of a little dipper, which is why the Pleiades are often mistaken for the Little Dipper, an asterism of Ursa Minor.

Binoculars are highly recommended for this event.

First, scan the Moon. You'll see craters, mountains and lava seas. Note that you can see the entire Moon, not just the brightly-lit crescent. The Moon's dark terrain is illumined by a ghostly glow called "Earthshine." It is the light of our own blue planet shining down on the Moon.

Next, scan the sky around the Moon. The Pleiades come into sharp focus---and they are more than seven. Dozens of faint "sisters" can be seen through even modest optics.

This night doesn't sound equal. It sounds much better than that.

ALIEN AGENDA: March, 17, another pyramid-like UFO caught above Shanghai.

Tnks to fashionxue, that's bringing some news from China.
The number of UFOs sightings around the world, is increasing severely, but definitely something weird is going on China. I mean, many different types of UFOs are seen all over the globe: Cigar-like UFOs, discoid UFOs, worm-like UFOs, orbs and other objects with unusual shapes, but massive pyramid-like crafts are getting common in the Chinese skies. Very large objects with this very particular design, spotting at day light with clear sky and in low altitude, not so far away of the city towers. At this time, another pyramid UFO was caught hovering above Shanghai, in 17th March, and fortunately a witness took some pictures that the user fashionxue sent me to further investigation. IMO they are authentic.
Assuming that the pilots of these crafts have any connection with the ancient Egyptian "gods", why they are showing off in the Chinese skies?? Are they in contact with the Chinese government???

'Phoenix lights' UFO case 13th anniversary is March 13

(This article originally appeared on the Transcendent TV & Media and Joint Recon Study Group sites.)The 13th anniversary of the so-called "Phoenix lights" UFO incident is next Saturday, March 13.

As usual at this time each year, the case is revisited by many researchers, writers and interested people.

In addition, the National Geographic Channel is airing an episode of its new show "Mysterious Science" about the Phoenix lights incident.

Also, respected researcher, journalist and editor Randall Fitzgerald recently wrote an extensive article (available online) with the headline "Were the 1997 Arizona Lights a psychological warfare experiment?" Fitzgerald covers some interesting new information and theories.

As part of this discussion, I thought it might be interesting to include a chapter on the Phoenix lights case from my first novel, "Mission Into Light" (published in 2001).

I would add that on March 13, 1997, I was living in an area of metro Phoenix's "Valley of the Sun" that was in the line of the flight path of this object or objects. However, I must not have been looking up at the evening sky at the right time and did not observe the anomalous sight reported by so many others in Phoenix and wester-central Arizona.

CHAPTER 20: UFO OVER PHOENIX

That evening, things were going as usual, pretty much. At Kaneohe Bay, Amy got back from work and had dinner with Mike while they watched TV.

In San Diego, the Joint Recon Study Group members had closed up the office for the night and headed to their homes, families, and friends.

Some went for an evening jog around their neighborhood. Some worked out at home or at a gym. Major Valdez was at her daughter's school play. Jim Etienne hit a few golf balls at a driving range near his apartment.

But in west central Arizona, something unusual was happening.

Driving south on a road near Prescott, retired police officer William "Buck" Baird saw something in the night sky. It was typical dry and clear night in Arizona's central mountains. The evening was dark and quiet. Plenty of stars out tonight.

Buck spotted a large object slowly drifting straight over his pickup truck.

The shape seemed like a triangle, or maybe a boomerang. Large, bright, yellowish lights were spaced underneath the front angles of the object and were clearly visible.

Buck pulled his pickup truck off to the side of the road and turned off the motor. He wanted to listen for an engine sound from the object. But the night was quiet. All he heard were crickets and a hoot owl as the object continued to move south in the general direction of the road at what seemed like a leisurely pace.

Fifteen minutes later, in the Prescott area, fourteen citizens spotted the object and called local police and the Yavapai County Sheriff's Department.

Twenty-one people at a backyard party in Wickenburg also spotted the object a half-hour later. Two of the people there had video cameras with them and started rolling videotape with nervous narratives of the object. It was still moving gently and silently south-southeast.

Half a dozen people in smaller towns in a general line from west central Arizona to just north of Phoenix were calling police, UFO hot lines, neighbors and relatives. They had just seen something. Something big, with lights. Not a regular airplane, no sir-ee. Maybe a top secret Air Force stealth plane though.

And then it did an unusual thing, for a UFO. In mid-evening, it sailed slowly, gently, right over a major U.S. city: Phoenix and the metropolitan sprawl of the "Valley of the Sun."

People sitting outdoors in the warm desert evening saw it. Both teams in a softball game saw it. Three little girls playing with a puppy in their backyard saw it and called for their mommy and daddy to look at it. A commercial pilot coming in for a landing saw it.

Phoenix police phone lines lit up, and five officers later admitted to their buddies that when they had responded to radio calls about the object, they had seen a huge boomerang or triangular object with large, evenly spaced lights underneath, or along its front edge.

A dozen people around Phoenix pulled out video cameras and started shooting. Several witnesses called local TV stations and Luke Air Force Base.

The object apparently continued its way slowly toward the southeast and drifted out of sight.

The next morning, the Phoenix newspaper had an article about the object. Local TV news carried the story. And before long, newspapers in other cities picked up the story. Even the TV networks covered it. "UFO over Phoenix."

People from other parts of the country noticed that Arizona was down there by New Mexico. Roswell. And not so far from the so-called "Area 51" in Nevada, either.

People from all over had their theories. A formation of small planes, maybe. Could've been a secret stealth bomber on a night flight. Obviously an extraterrestrial craft. No, definitely flares from the nearby Air Force range used for practice bombing runs.

At first, Luke Air Force Base reported that they got no calls about it. But local news reporters found sources from the base who said the phone lines at Luke were lit up like a Christmas tree. And maybe some fighter jets had been scrambled to intercept something that night.

The next morning, back in San Diego, JRSG folks had their own opinions.

Ed Thompson and Bill MacNeil were supposed to be researching UFO reports, among other things.

Colonel O'Brien thought this was a highly unusual case. He even called a special afternoon meeting. All of them were there except Amy and Mike. Dan Wells and Jim Etienne walked up the hill from the dolphin facilities. Gene Voss, Karen Valdez, and Jennifer Thorsen canceled a drive to Camp Pendleton.

O'Brien opened the meeting and passed around copies of newspaper articles on the incident. A few of them had heard about it on TV or the radio.

"I've called the meeting to discuss the situation in Phoenix. I've asked Team Two to give us a briefing on it. This seems like an odd UFO sighting to me. I'd like us to kick it around a little. Colonel Thompson, enlighten us please."

"Well, sir, MacNeil and I called some TV stations over in Phoenix and read the newspaper articles. I called Luke Air Force Base and they can't give us any more than is in the press. That's about the extent of our inquiry at this time. MacNeil called some relatives who live over there and they just know what they saw on TV and in the papers. MacNeil has prepared a brief report. Mac, go ahead."

Bill glanced at his legal pad and skimmed over the notes he had jotted down on the UFO.

"Well, basically about fifty or more people in central Arizona and Phoenix reported the thing. It started in small towns up in the mountain area north and northwest of Phoenix. The thing apparently stayed fairly steady on a course of southeast or south southeast right through the center of metro Phoenix."

"Reliable witnesses. Pilots. Cops. Average citizens. Video and still shots clearly show a boomerang, or some say a triangular shape with bright, oversized lights. Air traffic controllers reportedly saw it visually but there was no signature on radar. Or so they say. Witnesses reported no engine sound and the thing was reportedly cruising at a relatively slow speed. Most of the reports and calls to the cops and TV stopped as the thing apparently cruised out of town on its course to the southeast."

"It's probably a safe bet that a few folks who saw it or took video didn't necessarily call it in," MacNeil said.

"Like Ed said, Luke Air Force Base isn't saying anything. The Air Force just finished trying to handle to fiftieth anniversary of the Roswell incident not too long ago."
Dan Wells was looking at and listening to MacNeil. Dan needed to tie up some loose ends in his mind about this. As Bill paused for questions or comments, Wells posed his question. Not really a question. A funny feeling.

"Bill, this somehow makes me think of your crop circles. An obvious, open thing that a lot of people see. An action with a purpose. What do you think?"

He directed the question to MacNeil, but really, Wells put it on the table for the group to discuss.

Bill was well aware of the possible connection here. So were Ed and Jim Etienne. Team Three had some knowledge of this but had not talked about it with Teams One and Two. They had been busy with their physical fitness and Camp Pendleton.

Several of them glanced at O'Brien. Over the months they had worked with him, he seemed to know a lot more than he was saying. Since they were all on a need-to-know basis, that was an accepted way of doing things. But maybe they did have a need to know at this point. O'Brien waited and listened.

MacNeil didn't say anything.

Wells wanted to pursue the point of the public nature of the crop circles and this apparent public fly-over by something over Phoenix.

"You all know that one of my paths of research has been geological and other Earth changes," Wells said. "I've passed on the intel on the pole shift theories and melting glaciers. But I have to admit I've held back a little."

"There's a line of thought that integrates some of the astronomy, archeology, and geology with the metaphysical ... and maybe with the UFOs."

He had their attention. His seven colleagues looked at him in the supportive manner they had all become accustomed to.

"It's sometimes called names like 'Planetary Ascension.' The idea is that our planet is evolving on many levels: Earth's position and trajectory in the solar system might be changing. Geological changes on a big scale could happen such as earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis."

"But there's something else going on at a more subtle level. The sub-atomic and quantum physics, and the spiritual factors in our environment on Earth may evolve in a noticeable way."

"I've looked at the crop circle photos and read all the different analyses and opinions. It seems to me that they are messages directly to the public about these kinds of Earth changes. Sort of a 'one picture is worth a thousand words' kind of thing. There clearly is mathematical and physics-oriented symbolism in them."

"A friend of mine who works with Navy crypto looked at the photos and the intel. He agrees that they say something interesting. He's preparing detailed interpretations of several of the crop formations for us."

Dan felt better now. Like he had gotten something off his chest.

Karen Thorsen responded first.

"What's a time frame on these alleged changes, Dan?"

"Unknown, Karen. My crypto buddy is looking at that."

"The reason I ask is that we're sitting here on the edge of the Pacific Plate and the Ring of Fire, aren't we?"

Karen Valdez also wanted to know about Wells' reference to spiritual factors.

"Dan, is this like the Bible prophesies about some kind of change, and breakthrough?"

"Could be, major. Unknown at this time. At least unknown to me."

Wells and several of the others turned to O'Brien, expecting him to comment.

O'Brien had been involved in this kind of research for a lot longer than these folks. He and Jack Allen, and others. He did know more.

"You're all on the right track," he told them. "There's a consensus by many groups in our special research area that we are evolving toward interesting changes that may be quite significant and visible."

"As far as the Phoenix situation, I think it's worth sending Team Two over there to nose around. See me after the meeting about arrangements. We'll use a different safehouse at the foot of the mountains north of the Phoenix metro area."

"I've also been in touch with our old friend Joe Bear. He's invited all of us up to the Four Corners area for a visit. I think he's got something of interest for us. Maybe one of his sweat lodge ceremonies and some sightseeing around the Four Corners. He's always telling me about the mystical things going on up there. I think we're ready to spread our wings a bit."

"With the exception of Mella and Green, we've all stayed here close to base since the Sedona incident and the temporary stand down. Ed and MacNeil will head to Phoenix, the rest of us will be going to the Four Corners. We'll all link up at some point afterwards."

"Colonel Allen is already in the Flagstaff, Arizona, area along with Doctor Carruthers. We'll connect with them too, I'm sure."

"Dan, you and Jim make arrangements to take a break from the Marine Mammal Program please. Gene, Karen and Jennifer, same for you and the Marine Pups youth program. We'll need to make air transport arrangements for both groups."

Thompson already had a contingency chopper transport plan for himself and MacNeil.

"Sir, Mac and I would like to use the local Special Forces reserve unit on this. We've been working with them on a few things including little unconventional scenarios like this."

"Sounds like a great idea, Ed," O'Brien said with a smile. "Dan, get a Navy chopper for the rest of us, will you?"

"Aye, aye, sir. And, if needed, Etienne is our liaison with Navy special ops support, colonel."

"Very well. Before I adjourn this meeting, are there any questions or comments?" O'Brien looked around the room at the JRSG team. Dedicated. Smart. Gutsy.

Despite the fact that Tom O'Brien had been passed over many times for promotion to general, he loved the Air Force and his job. Incidents in Vietnam, and after, had resulted in a marked lack of promotions.

Green Berets Ed Thompson and Jack Allen had also been stuck as colonels when they could have been generals by now. All three of them had been politically incorrect during and after Vietnam too many times.

But somehow it had all worked out. O'Brien didn't need stars on his uniform, and he suspected Ed and Jack didn't give a rat's ass about general's stars either.

"All right then. Group dismissed."

That's what one Lake Erie, Ohio, resident is claiming. Eugene Erlikh snapped a half a dozen photos of something unusual floating in the sky. Erlikh believes the photos show a UFO, Fox8.com reports.

Erlikh told Fox8.com that the objects emitted "brilliant" colors and were flying solo, and occasionally in group formations. The objects appeared to be "making line formations and triangles in the sky."

Erlikh, an EMT and paramedic student, also recorded video footage of what he says are "astonishing captures."

The content of this video, was originally posted on the Chinese video community You Ku. Apparently the footage was aired on some local TV show and I can't vouch for its authenticity, unless a Chinese, come around to comment about it and say what exactly is written in the original subs.
The video was recorded in January 28 at 8:40 am, in Xi'an city and we can hear fireworks sounds in the downtown, probably the film maker was recording some local event and then he focused the camera in two objects hovering above of two big buildings. At first glance they seemed like balloons, large ones, but when the focus got stabilized, became clear a massive upside down pyramid-like UFO, just stopped, lightly inclined, spinning around its own axis very slowly. smaller object almost similar, performing a 360° turn around the bigger one.
I watched the video thoroughly, seeking by any detail that could indicates a CGI job, but IMO looks pretty authentic. And if it was, is one of the most stunning and baffling footages, ever recorded. It's just weird. It's like to see the Kufhu pyramid flying above an urban center.
It seems the ones that built all these pyramids around the world, are back...

'Humanoid figure' seen near strange beam of light in backyard

A California witnesses’ attention is drawn to a 3-foot-wide beam of light shining down on the backyard February 27, and then sees a “humanoid” figure, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

“The light beam ended up moving towards one of my windows,” the witness stated, “then held there about 3 feet away from it.”

But the witness soon noticed something even odder – “what looked to be a projection on the white flowers on the fruit tree of a head and shoulders of a mottled brown and black reptile humanoid figure.”

After a few minutes, the beam and figure disappeared, and the witness noticed an “out of place” blue-white star moving away.

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Arizona MUFON investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

CA, February 27, 2010 – Beam of bright white light in yard and a projection of something from a blue white scintallating object high in sky. MUFON Case # 22061.

I was reading a book and got a little tired, so I turned off the light and was just relaxing in the dark looking out into our yard. Last night the moon was overhead and lit up my backyard like a spotlight.

But suddenly I noticed, there was a definite separate beam of light about 3 feet across coming straight down in one part of my yard.

The light beam ended up moving towards one of my windows then held there about 3 feet away from it. Our fruit tree in the backyard is covered in bright white flowers right now.

First on the tree I saw what looked like a wave, that caught my eye, like when the heat is coming off the blacktop on a hot summer day. It obscured part of the flowers, but the other flowers and trees in yard were clearly seen.

I have high end energy efficient silvered windows that block 99% of the UV so that was really weird. Then I saw 2 lights in the fruit tree. Little tiny like LED’s bright white, reminded me of when you take a flashlight and see the cat eyes looking back in reflection only much brighter. The lights were about the distance apart that eyes would be.

I noticed because I wear glasses and they projected some light and they reflected off my lenses. Then I saw what looked to be a projection on the white flowers on the fruit tree of a head and shoulders of a mottled brown and black reptile humanoid figure.

It seemed to be mouthing words or something, no nose, reptile like folds where the nose would be, dark yellow eyes, it had a hand? with 3 claws one was bigger than the other 2, it motioned while speaking? Teeth too, little points, they were white so they stood out against the color of the mouth. I couldn’t hear anything, words or sounds for that matter.

We have a marsh nearby and right now the frogs are mating so it is loud. I didn’t even hear that when this happened. After a few minutes the beam, image and eyes disappeared. I looked outside and saw an out of place blue, white star scintallating and then it disappeared. If that star was projecting something and it hit my window from that angle then it would have hit the spot right there on my fruit tree. Never saw that before.

Mongolian UFO Wreckage?

What weighs two tons and randomly falls out of the sky in Mongolia? That’s what MUFON researchers and some very concerned Mongolians would like to know! Recently, two objects, one a two-ton hunk and the other a lighter 22-pound hunk, plummeted to earth outside the Mongolian capital of Ulan Bator. Maybe it’s a jet engine; maybe it’s a big old piece of alien spacecraft. Whatever it might be, nobody’s coming forward to claim responsibility for the wreckage.

Odds are, this is just some random junk that fell off some rusted relic of the Soviet Union’s air force. Maybe smugglers? There’s no telling. Even though there is a UFO embassy in nearby Kazakhstan, it’s probably not some space-age technology. Maybe some enterprising Kazakh tried to make his own flying saucer?

It doesn’t look like a jet engine, and I doubt a jet engine weighs two tons, so… what is it really?

NASA Radar Finds Ice Deposits at Moon's North Pole; Additional Evidence of Water Activity on Moon

WASHINGTON -- Using data from a NASA radar that flew aboard India's Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft, scientists have detected ice deposits near the moon's north pole. NASA's Mini-SAR instrument, a lightweight, synthetic aperture radar, found more than 40 small craters with water ice. The craters range in size from 1 to 9 miles (2 to15 km) in diameter. Although the total amount of ice depends on its thickness in each crater, it's estimated there could be at least 600 million metric tons of water ice.

"The emerging picture from the multiple measurements and resulting data of the instruments on lunar missions indicates that water creation, migration, deposition and retention are occurring on the moon," said Paul Spudis, principal investigator of the Mini-SAR experiment at the Lunar and Planetary Institute in Houston. "The new discoveries show the moon is an even more interesting and attractive scientific, exploration and operational destination than people had previously thought."

During the past year, the Mini-SAR mapped the moon's permanently-shadowed polar craters that aren't visible from Earth. The radar uses the polarization properties of reflected radio waves to characterize surface properties. Results from the mapping showed deposits having radar characteristics similar to ice.

"After analyzing the data, our science team determined a strong indication of water ice, a finding which will give future missions a new target to further explore and exploit," said Jason Crusan, program executive for the Mini-RF Program for NASA's Space Operations Mission Directorate in Washington.

The Mini-SAR's findings are being published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters. The results are consistent with recent findings of other NASA instruments and add to the growing scientific understanding of the multiple forms of water found on the moon. The agency's Moon Mineralogy Mapper discovered water molecules in the moon's polar regions, while water vapor was detected by NASA's Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite, or LCROSS.

Mini-SAR and Moon Mineralogy Mapper are two of 11 instruments on the Indian Space Research Organization's Chandrayaan-1. The Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Md., performed the final integration and testing on Mini-SAR. It was developed and built by the Naval Air Warfare Center in China Lake, Calif., and several other commercial and government contributors.

Chilean Quake Likely Shifted Earth’s Axis, NASA Scientist Says

March 1 (Bloomberg) -- The earthquake that killed more than 700 people in Chile on Feb. 27 probably shifted the Earth’s axis and shortened the day, a National Aeronautics and Space Administration scientist said.
Earthquakes can involve shifting hundreds of kilometers of rock by several meters, changing the distribution of mass on the planet. This affects the Earth’s rotation, said Richard Gross, a geophysicist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, who uses a computer model to calculate the effects.
“The length of the day should have gotten shorter by 1.26 microseconds (millionths of a second),” Gross, said today in an e-mailed reply to questions. “The axis about which the Earth’s mass is balanced should have moved by 2.7 milliarcseconds (about 8 centimeters or 3 inches).”
The changes can be modeled, though they’re difficult to physically detect given their small size, Gross said. Some changes may be more obvious, and islands may have shifted, according to Andreas Rietbrock, a professor of Earth Sciences at the U.K.’s Liverpool University who has studied the area impacted, though not since the latest temblor.
Santa Maria Island off the coast near Concepcion, Chile’s second-largest city, may have been raised 2 meters (6 feet) as a result of the latest quake, Rietbrock said today in a telephone interview. He said the rocks there show evidence pointing to past earthquakes shifting the island upward in the past.
‘Ice-Skater Effect’
“It’s what we call the ice-skater effect,” David Kerridge, head of Earth hazards and systems at the British Geological Survey in Edinburgh, said today in a telephone interview. “As the ice skater puts when she’s going around in a circle, and she pulls her arms in, she gets faster and faster. It’s the same idea with the Earth going around if you change the distribution of mass, the rotation rate changes.”
Rietbrock said he hasn’t been able to get in touch with seismologists in Concepcion to discuss the quake, which registered 8.8 on the Richter scale.
“What definitely the earthquake has done is made the Earth ring like a bell,” Rietbrock said.
The magnitude 9.1 Sumatran in 2004 that generated an Indian Ocean tsunami shortened the day by 6.8 microseconds and shifted the axis by about 2.3 milliarcseconds, Gross said.
The changes happen on the day and then carry on “forever,” Benjamin Fong Chao, dean of Earth Sciences of the National Central University in Taiwan, said in an e-mail.
“This small contribution is buried in larger changes due to other causes, such as atmospheric mass moving around on Earth,” Chao said.

The British Government has finally released it’s UFO files via the Ministry of Defense. This 6,00 pages document includes sightings, renderings, drawings, videos, etc. about UFO’s from eyewitnesses that believe we are not alone. The UFO files release will include over 10 years worth of data with more being released at a later point in time from the Freedom of Information Act. Some of the files include people saying they had specifically seen aliens or their UFO’s up close. Now most of these “sightings” were probably mistaken, people have to wonder after seeing the documents of some of the testimonials.

Are We Alone

This is a question that has been around for decades, but no one has been able to come up with a clear answer. While over half of the country believe that we are not alone, there is no hard concrete evidence that will justify an answer for this question. While you ask people, most will say yes, but not definitively. This many be because of religious affiliation etc., but with the British Government releasing these documents that had been kept secret for so long, this may now shed some light back onto the topic. With the photographs and videos, there has to be something else out there. The people will not know this until the Government completely releases these documents and more Governments begin to follow suit. The US Government especially should because they have always been accused of providing false information to people and have been involved in many conspiracy theories abroad. It will be interesting to see if people begin to come forward a bit after the documents are released to help shed some light on what they saw and heard so that it can continue to fascinate us beyond our wildest imaginations and dreams.

MoD to destroy future UFO reports

The Ministry of Defence will destroy all future UFO reports it receives so it does not have to make them public, a previously secret memo reveals.
Britain's official UFO investigation unit and hotline were closed down at the start of December.
Since then reports of strange sights in the skies sent to the MoD have been kept for 30 days before being thrown out, the newly released policy document shows.
This stance was adopted so defence officials would not have to publish the information in response to freedom of information (FoI) requests or pass it to the National Archives.
The memo, dated November 11, 2009, sets out the MoD's reasons for shutting its UFO unit and ceasing to invite the public to send in details of sightings.
It notes that the number of reports the department received soared last year, taking up extra resources and diverting staff from "more valuable" defence-related activities.
The MoD recorded 634 UFO sightings in 2009, the second highest annual total after 1978, when there were 750, according to UFO expert Dr David Clarke.
This compares with an average of about 150 reports a year over the past decade.
The memo states: "The dedicated UFO hotline answer phone service and e-mail address serve no defence purpose, and merely encourage the generation of correspondence of no defence value.
"Accordingly these facilities should be withdrawn as soon as possible."

Prehistoric UFO and ET images found in remote cave in India

A group of anthropologists working with hill tribes in a remote area of India have made a startling discovery: Intricate prehistoric cave paintings depicting aliens and UFO type craft.

The images were found in the Hoshangabad district of the state of Madhya Pradesh only 70 kilometers from the local administrative centre of Raisen. The caves are hidden deep within dense jungle.

A clear image of what might be an alien or ET in a space suit can be seen in one cave painting along with a classical flying saucer shaped UFO that appears to be either beaming something down or beaming something up, in what might be an ancient UFO abduction scenario. A force-field or trail of some sort is seen at the rear of the UFO.

Also visible is another object that might depict a wormhole, explaining how aliens were able to reach Earth. This image may lead UFO enthusiasts to conclude that the images might have been drawn with the involvement of aliens themselves.

Local Archaeologist, Mr Wassim Khan, has personally seen the images. He claims that the objects and creatures seen in them are totally anomalous and out of character when compared to other, already discovered, examples of prehistoric cave art depicting ancient life in the area. As such he believes that they might suggest beings from other planets have been interacting with humans since prehistoric times: Adding weight to the 'ancient astronaut theory' which postulates that human civilization was established with the assistance of benevolent space-faring aliens.

Mystery as spiral blue light display hovers above Norway

What's blue and white, squiggly and suddenly appears in the sky?

If you know the answer, pop it on a postcard and send it to the people of Norway, where this mysterious light display baffled residents yesterday.

Speculation was increasing today that the display was the result of an embarrassing failed test launch of a jinxed new Russian missile.

The Bulava missile was test-fired from the Dmitry Donskoi submarine in the White Sea early on Wednesday but failed at the third stage, say newspapers in Moscow today.

This emerged despite earlier reports denying a missile launch yesterday. Even early today there was no formal confirmation from the Russian Defence Ministry.

The mystery began when a blue light seemed to soar up from behind a mountain in the north of the country. It stopped mid-air, then began to move in circles. Within seconds a giant spiral had covered the entire sky.

Tromsō Geophysical Observatory researcher Truls Lynne Hansen agreed, saying the missile had likely veered out of control and exploded, and the spiral was light reflecting on the leaking fuel.

But last night Russia denied it had been conducting missile tests in the area.

A Moscow news outlet quoted the Russian Navy as denying any rocket launches from the White Sea area.

Norway should be informed of such launches under international agreements, it was stressed.

However this morning media reports claimed a missile had indeed been launched from the White Sea. Test firings are usually made from the White Sea, close to the Norwegian Arctic region.

Kommersant newspaper reported today that a test-firing before dawn on Wednesday coincided with the light show in the northern sky.

It also emerged today that Russia last week formally notified Norway of a window when a missile test might be carried out.

This included a seven hour period early on Wednesday at the time when the lights were seen.

The submarine Dmitry Donskoy went to sea on Monday, ahead of the test, and some reports suggest the vessel is now back in port.

A Russian military source said today that 'the third stage of the rocket did not work'.

The Russian Defence Ministry, with characteristic secrecy, has so far been unavailable for comment.

The Bulava, despite being crucial to Russia's plans to revamp its weaponry, is becoming an embarrassment after nine failed launches in 13 tests, prompting calls for it to be scrapped.

In theory, it has a range of 5,000 miles and could carry up to ten nuclear weapons bound for separate targets.

A previous failure in July forced the resignation of Yury Solomonov, the director of the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology which is responsible for developing the missile.

However, he is now working as chief designer on the jinxed project.

The Norwegian Meteorological Institute was flooded with telephone calls after the light storm yesterday morning.

Totto Eriksen, from Tromsø, told VG Nett: 'It spun and exploded in the sky,'

He spotted the lights as he walked his daughter Amalie to school.

He said: 'We saw it from the Inner Harbor in Tromsø. It was absolutely fantastic.

'It almost looked like a rocket that spun around and around and then went diagonally down the heavens.

'It looked like the moon was coming over the mountain, but then came something completely different.'

Celebrity astronomer Knut Jørgen Røed Ødegaard said he had never seen anything like the lights.

He said: 'My first thought was that it was a fireball meteor, but it has lasted far too long.

'It may have been a missile in Russia, but I can not guarantee that it is the answer.'

Air traffic control in Tromsō claimed the light show lasted 'far too long to be an astronomical phenomenon'.

Vatican looks to heavens for signs of alien life

VATICAN CITY – E.T. phone Rome. Four hundred years after it locked up Galileo for challenging the view that the Earth was the center of the universe, the Vatican has called in experts to study the possibility of extraterrestrial alien life and its implication for the Catholic Church.

"The questions of life's origins and of whether life exists elsewhere in the universe are very suitable and deserve serious consideration," said the Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, an astronomer and director of the Vatican Observatory.

Funes, a Jesuit priest, presented the results Tuesday of a five-day conference that gathered astronomers, physicists, biologists and other experts to discuss the budding field of astrobiology — the study of the origin of life and its existence elsewhere in the cosmos.

Funes said the possibility of alien life raises "many philosophical and theological implications" but added that the gathering was mainly focused on the scientific perspective and how different disciplines can be used to explore the issue.

Chris Impey, an astronomy professor at the University of Arizona, said it was appropriate that the Vatican would host such a meeting.

"Both science and religion posit life as a special outcome of a vast and mostly inhospitable universe," he told a news conference Tuesday. "There is a rich middle ground for dialogue between the practitioners of astrobiology and those who seek to understand the meaning of our existence in a biological universe."

Thirty scientists, including non-Catholics, from the U.S., France, Britain, Switzerland, Italy and Chile attended the conference, called to explore among other issues "whether sentient life forms exist on other worlds."

Funes set the stage for the conference a year ago when he discussed the possibility of alien life in an interview given prominence in the Vatican's daily newspaper.

The Church of Rome's views have shifted radically through the centuries since Italian philosopher Giordano Bruno was burned at the stake as a heretic in 1600 for speculating, among other ideas, that other worlds could be inhabited.

Scientists have discovered hundreds of planets outside our solar system — including 32 new ones announced recently by the European Space Agency. Impey said the discovery of alien life may be only a few years away.

"If biology is not unique to the Earth, or life elsewhere differs bio-chemically from our version, or we ever make contact with an intelligent species in the vastness of space, the implications for our self-image will be profound," he said.

This is not the first time the Vatican has explored the issue of extraterrestrials: In 2005, its observatory brought together top researchers in the field for similar discussions.

In the interview last year, Funes told Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano that believing the universe may host aliens, even intelligent ones, does not contradict a faith in God.

"How can we rule out that life may have developed elsewhere?" Funes said in that interview.

"Just as there is a multitude of creatures on Earth, there could be other beings, even intelligent ones, created by God. This does not contradict our faith, because we cannot put limits on God's creative freedom."

Funes maintained that if intelligent beings were discovered, they would also be considered "part of creation."

The Roman Catholic Church's relationship with science has come a long way since Galileo was tried as a heretic in 1633 and forced to recant his finding that the Earth revolves around the sun. Church teaching at the time placed Earth at the center of the universe.

Today top clergy, including Funes, openly endorse scientific ideas like the Big Bang theory as a reasonable explanation for the creation of the universe. The theory says the universe began billions of years ago in the explosion of a single, super-dense point that contained all matter.

Earlier this year, the Vatican also sponsored a conference on evolution to mark the 150th anniversary of Charles Darwin's "The Origin of Species."

The event snubbed proponents of alternative theories, like creationism and intelligent design, which see a higher being rather than the undirected process of natural selection behind the evolution of species.

Still, there are divisions on the issues within the Catholic Church and within other religions, with some favoring creationism or intelligent design that could make it difficult to accept the concept of alien life.

Working with scientists to explore fundamental questions that are of interest to religion is in line with the teachings of Pope Benedict XVI, who has made strengthening the relationship between faith and reason a key aspect of his papacy.

Recent popes have been working to overcome the accusation that the church was hostile to science — a reputation grounded in the Galileo affair.

In 1992, Pope John Paul II declared the ruling against the astronomer was an error resulting from "tragic mutual incomprehension."

The Vatican Museums opened an exhibit last month marking the 400th anniversary of Galileo's first celestial observations.

Tommaso Maccacaro, president of Italy's national institute of astrophysics, said at the exhibit's Oct. 13 opening that astronomy has had a major impact on the way we perceive ourselves.

"It was astronomical observations that let us understand that Earth (and man) don't have a privileged position or role in the universe," he said. "I ask myself what tools will we use in the next 400 years, and I ask what revolutions of understanding they'll bring about, like resolving the mystery of our apparent cosmic solitude."

The Vatican Observatory has also been at the forefront of efforts to bridge the gap between religion and science. Its scientist-clerics have generated top-notch research and its meteorite collection is considered one of the world's best.

The observatory, founded by Pope Leo XIII in 1891, is based in Castel Gandolfo, a lakeside town in the hills outside Rome where the pope has his summer residence. It also conducts research at an observatory at the University of Arizona, in Tucson.

Gilliland is a famous UFO researcher who seeks publicity and self promotes his property to UFO groups and reporters but who now wants to pursue investigations without UFO and paranormal groups getting in the way.

Here is the full text of Gilliland's explanation as to why he is withdrawing from UFO and paranormal groups.

"Before we begin I would like to express this letter is not to the people of integrity which are far and few between in the UFO community. They will understand and completely agree with what I am about to say. This letter is to all the conference boards, talk show hosts and others within the community who continue to deal with half truths and perpetuate the dark threatening agendas concerning our off world visitors totally ignoring the fact that the majority of off worlders are very spiritually and technologically advanced as well as benevolent.

The fear and suspense along with other hidden agendas via disinformation agents has so infiltrated ufology that the higher truth has been virtually pushed out. The UFO community has become the very conspiracy and censors of truth they set out in the beginning to expose. It has become a plethora of disinformation, misinformation, and massive egos wanting to be messiahs each thinking they have the big picture when all they have is a small piece of the pie. The field has become so corrupted, convoluted, and whacked out the real contactees and the bigger picture with positive contacts really have little or no forum to express. They are eventually squeezed out especially when it comes to women. Women who do not agree with the dark foreboding agendas of many exmilitary or top government officials who either see everything as a threat due to preprogramming or are there to support the war industry which needs a new threat to continue its massive budget.

The vast majority of off worlders which includes those coming from the higher dimensions are benevolent so why is the vast majority of the conferences and radio show programming focused on the negative regenerate side? Why is the negative, regenerate side given all the air and podium time which is completely disproportionate to reality? Personally I believe the majority of the UFO community has become so convoluted and riddled with disinformation along with those sitting on boards who perpetuate the mis and disinformation with NWO connections not to mention the material driven circus there is no way any off world visitor would have anything to do with it. As a venue for truth it is unsalvageable.

This is why I have no more desire to operate or involve myself further with these groups. I will continue as a spokesman for contact with benevolent off world visitors through other venues. I will also continue to hold our own conferences and invite those on the cutting edge who are working towards the advancement or awakening and healing of humanity and the Earth. The Self Mastery and Kunlun classes will continue as well. With the regular appearances of the UFOs here at ECETI and the appearances of grand masters which have been photographed one would think there would be a strong interest and desire to promote the ongoing outrageous events happening at the ECETI Ranch. One would think with UFOs buzzing TV reporters and thousands of eyewitnesses with PHDs in every field, pilots, air traffic controllers etc. there would be a strong interest in the ranch yet in fact it is entirely the opposite going as far as suppressing or ignoring the events altogether by major conference organizers and talk show hosts.

The number one question when people come here and see the ships, experience the higher consciousness and energy experiencing spontaneous healings and incredible awakenings is why is this not getting out to others. Why is the spiritual and UFO community not jumping all over this. My only answer is ask them what they are afraid of. Why do they have so much resistance to the truth and what is it in them that is threatened? They have become wrong they set out to right. Twenty three million people watched the trailer to the movie Contact Has Begun, His Story with James Gilliland and now it is on Net Flicks. Robbie Williams the UK pop star and other UK stars have come to the ranch. The Latin countries are blasting the contacts and sightings here all over their media and four ships came in all at once at the last Science,
Spirit and World Transformation conference filmed by the speakers along with a field full of people. It is blasted all over youtube. Fox News just did a real positive piece and this Thursday Koin 6 will air their report where a UFO buzzed the reporter at ECETI and powered up right over his head. Despite the UFO community the truth is flowing like a river but not through their venue. It is time for people to do their own research and look into those in the UFO community who have maintained their integrity in a search for truth. Those that continue to keep you looking in the past, painting dark foreboding fearful agendas without addressing the benevolent side of contact are doing a grave injustice to the people, the off worlders, and the possibility of a quantum leap in evolution. To me this is not a service to humanity but in some cases an extreme disservice which is why I will no longer seek these venues to serve humanity or the greater family of man.

FO alert: police officer sees aliens at crop circle

The sergeant, who has not been named, was off-duty when he saw the figures standing in a field near Silbury Hill, and stopped his car to investigate.

However, as he approached the 'men' – all over 6ft tall with blond hair – he heard "the sound of static electricity" and the trio ran away ''faster than any man he had ever seen''.

The officer returned to his home in Marlborough, Wiltshire, and contacted paranormal experts and told them he had spotted a UFO.

Wiltshire Police has refused to comment on the incident, saying it is a ''personal matter'' for the officer involved.

Crop circle researcher Andrew Russell, who is investigating the bizarre sighting on behalf of the officer, described the moment his sighting was made.

He said: ''At first he thought they were forensic officers as they were dressed in white coveralls. He stopped his car and approached the field.

''The figures were all over 6ft and had blond hair. They seemed to be inspecting the crop. When he got to the edge of the field he heard what he believed to be a sound not dissimilar to static electricity.

''This crackling noise seemed to be running through the field and the crop was moving gently, close to where the noise was.

''He shouted to the figures who, at first, ignored him, not glancing at him. When he tried to enter the field they looked up and began running.

''He said; 'They ran faster than any man I have ever seen. I'm no slouch but they were moving so fast. I looked away for a second and when I looked back they were gone.

''I then got scared. The noise was still around but I got an uneasy feeling and headed for the car. For the rest of the day I had a pounding headache I couldn't shift.''

The bizarre incident occurred on the morning of July 6 this year as the police officer was driving.

The officer claims the three figures were examining a crop circle, which had appeared several days earlier, when he stopped his car and began walking towards them.

However, the mysterious beings disappeared when he ''looked away for a second'' and he contacted UFO experts after witnessing other paranormal activity.

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: ''The police officer was apparently off duty when this happened so we have no comment to make because it is a personal not a police matter.''

Crop circle expert Colin Andrews, who investigated the incident alongside Andrew Russell, said he is ''convinced'' by the police officer's story.

He said: ''I am quite convinced the officer had an experience that day and one that we have not fully explored.

''I think with the unusual movement of the being and the poltergeist experiences there is too much additional information to say that is something in nothing.''

Are non-human intelligent beings abducting humans? And if so, how and why?

The new movie THE FOURTH KIND deals with a topic that has become part of the tales, rumors and reports associated with UFOs and theories about visitation to Earth of extraterrestrial, extra-dimensional or other intelligent beings.

In the film, due in theatres Nov. 6, Milla Jovovich stars as a behavioral health professional working with clients who have apparent sleep disorders.

She soon discovers that these individuals are having difficulties because they apparently have experienced something very frightening and troubling – they may have been abducted by non-human beings of some kind, and for unclear purposes.

So-called "alien abductions" have been explored in various books, TV shows and movies. But, is there any truth to this phenomenon?

ABDUCTION IN THE MEDIA

The concept of human abductions by "aliens" appeared on many people's radar in 1987 and 1988 with the publication of the books INTRUDERS and MISSING TIME by artist and researcher Budd Hopkins.

Hopkins had become interested in the UFO topic and began to question individuals who, under hypnosis, recalled these strange abduction experiences.

Some critics said hypnosis was an unreliable method to elicit accurate memories and that the people under hypnosis could be inadvertently persuaded to come up with false memories of alien abduction experiences.

However, when highly-respected Harvard School of Medicine psychiatrist John Mack, M.D., began to come to conclusions similar to researchers such as Hopkins, this topic gained credibility. (Mack was also a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, having written a biography of T. E. Lawrence – "Lawrence of Arabia.")

In the early 1990s, Mack conducted a research study of 200 people who felt they may have had an alien abduction experience. He reportedly initially believed these people must have had some type of mental health problem. However, after interviewing and examining them, he found this not to be case.

Mack also noted that he felt an apparent spiritual or transformational experience on the part of these people was significant.

His subsequent 1999 book, PASSPORT TO THE COSMOS: HUMAN TRANSFORMATION AND ALIEN ENCOUNTERS, remains one of the most respected works on this topic. His book ABDUCTION: HUMAN ENCOUNTERS WITH ALIENS was published in 2007.

Another writer who explored this subject was Whitley Strieber. His book COMMUNION, published in 1987, reported what Strieber claimed were his own abduction experiences. He went on to write several other books dealing with this topic.

The 1993 movie FIRE IN THE SKY also brought the alien abduction issue into widespread public awareness. The film was based on an alleged 1975 experience of Snowflake, Arizona, resident Travis Walton, who claimed he was abducted in front of several fellow workers as they drove through an Arizona national forest after a day of clearing brush.

The 2002 TV mini-series TAKEN, produced by the Steven Spielberg organization, also further explored the ideas surrounding alleged abductions.

CREDIBLE REPORTS

According to some UFO lore, when elements of the U.S. Government became aware of unusual visitation to Earth during the 1940s, communication was made and liaison between certain officials and the visitors was established.

Many reports in the UFO literature suggest that it did become known that the visitors wished to examine humans – for purposes that are not entirely clear.

Stories and accounts of these abductions often involve people seeing a UFO, while driving for example, then experiencing "missing time" about which they have no memory – at least, no easily-accessible conscious memory. Later, they may experience troubling feelings or memories, along with physical marks or scars.

In other cases, people claim they are abducted from their beds at night. They report the same kinds of experiences as those who say they were taken while awake.

Both adults and children have may have had these experiences, according to the accounts in various UFO literature.

The tales of these very close encounters range from highly questionable to apparently fairly reliable witnesses and researchers. This has also been the case with those who claim to have seen UFOs. While some reports of sightings may not hold water, many other witnesses have been found to be highly credible pilots, military personnel, peace officers and respectable citizens of all kinds.

When moviegoers head out to see THE FOURTH KIND, there will probably be more discussion about what has been going on with UFOs, unusual visitors and close encounters with humans.

It seems to be a subject worth researching, and there are many reliable and worthwhile sources of information available.

THE FOURTH KIND may help us understand more about alleged alien visitation and about ourselves.

Mystery Emissions Spotted at Edge of Solar System

In the murky boundary between our solar system and the rest of the galaxy, scientists have spotted a bright band of surprising high-energy emissions.

The results come from the first all-sky map created by NASA's new Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) spacecraft, which launched in October 2008. While orbiting Earth, IBEX monitors incoming neutral atoms that originate billions of miles away at the solar system's edge to learn about the interaction between the sun and the cold expanse of space.

"The IBEX results are truly remarkable, with emissions not resembling any of the current theories or models of this never-before-seen region," said David McComas, IBEX principal investigator at the Southwest Research Institute in Texas. "We expected to see small, gradual spatial variations at the interstellar boundary, some 10 billion miles away. However, IBEX is showing us a very narrow ribbon that is two to three times brighter than anything else in the sky."

This ribbon of energy lies at the very edge of the solar system, where the bubble of charged particles streaming from the sun finally peters out. This bubble is called the heliosphere, and it encompasses the region of space dominated by the sun's influence.

The edge of the solar system

At the boundary of the heliosphere, the sun's positively-charged particles interact with neutral atoms drifting in from interstellar space. When these particles meet, an electron may hop over from a neutral atom to a charged one, called an ion. The result: the charged particle becomes neutral. IBEX detects these fast-moving neutral particles and traces their paths back to the solar system's edge to create a picture of this chaotic frontier.

"We're just now getting a handle on the interaction of the surrounding interstellar medium with the heliosphere, and that's providing us with the big picture," said mission co-investigator Eberhard Möbius of the University of New Hampshire.

The mission scientists said they were surprised to discover the striking band in IBEX's sky maps, because no models had predicted such a pattern beforehand.

McComas said when he first saw the IBEX results he thought, "'Something's wrong,' It was quite a long time before we convinced ourselves that we were right," he said.

The bright ribbon appears to be shaped by the direction of the interstellar magnetic field outside the heliosphere. Scientists think this suggests that the galactic environment just outside the solar system has far more influence on the structure of the heliosphere than previously believed.

"[The ribbon is] aligned by and dominated by the external magnetic field," McComas said in a briefing Thursday. "That's a huge clue as to what's going on. But still we're missing some really fundamental aspect of the interaction - some fundamental physics is missing from our understanding."

The boundary of the solar system was first explored by the Voyager 1 spacecraft in 2004 when it encountered an invisible shock created as the charged particles streaming off the sun hit the neutral gas from interstellar space. Its sister craft Voyager 2 followed into the solar system's edge in 2007. While these spacecraft began the exploration of this wild frontier, IBEX is now revealing a whole new picture.

"The most astounding feature in the IBEX sky maps — the bright narrow ribbon — snakes through the sky between the Voyager spacecraft, where it remained completely undetected until now," McComas said.

The new IBEX results will be published in the Oct. 16 issue of the journal Science.

Stewart was simply a copy of the famous Australian UFO photographed in 1993. Careful examination proves that the craft are similar. Ronald Nusbeck claims that skeptics used the 1993 Australian UFO image and simply superimposed it over the top of Ron's photo. This alone means the photo had to be altered, the 1993 image has a smaller craft coming out of the bottom. Clearly the prankster had to manipulate the image to superimpose it.

Lon Strickler of P&M Network, was sent a photo recently along with a video of a UFO craft, he then passed it along to Ron S. Stewart, scientist, for investigation. In this article you will see the step by step enlargement and enhancement of the UFO and possible aliens, the name given to the craft was taken from the Sumerians, Seth - God of Chaos.
The image of the craft has been subjected to X-Ray analysis providing a detailed look at the craft, it has also been converted from night to a day image as can be seen from the first photo to the last.

The craft is enlarged showing a pictograph of a life form on the exterior in the center of the window in last photo in the step by step imaging. APEP has found every UFO to date with pictographs on the exterior of the craft, there are no exception to this rule so far. Despite partial disclosure, Europe's UFO files remain mostly under wraps

In the two years since the French made their top-secret UFO files public, more European nations have declassified documents. But the majority remain tight-lipped with a few refusing to even acknowledge the phenomenon.

On August 4, 1990, an unidentified flying object was seen hovering in daylight near the town of Pitlochry in Scotland. Eyewitnesses stated that the diamond shaped object hung in the sky for about 10 minutes as two military aircraft made a series of low-level passes near it.

Almost three weeks later on August 24, hundreds of tourists and local residents observed formations of luminous spheres for over 30 minutes in the sky near the German city of Greifswald, located close to the coast of the Baltic Sea.

In November of that year, a triangular object was seen by numerous witnesses passing over Saint-Germain in the Champagne-Ardenne region of France. The object moved slowly at low altitude and emitted beams of light towards the ground before eventually speeding away.

All three events have many common factors, most notably that each one remains unexplained to this day. But one - the Greifswald incident - is the odd one out. This is because official documentation on the Pitlochry and Saint-Germain sightings collected by British and French governmental agencies are now available to the public after France and the UK took decisions to open up their UFO files.

Some of the truth is out there

The British and French governments are among a select few in Europe to have declassified previously top secret files and experts believe that, while they may currently be in the minority in revealing their documents, they are certainly not alone in having recorded sightings.

"The French released their UFO files through their space agency in 2007, Britain is mid-way through a 3-4 year program of revealing theirs under the Freedom of Information Act, while the Norwegians and the Danes have already released some files as have the Italians," Nick Pope, a former investigator of UFO reports and sightings with the British MoD and an expert on the topic, told Deutsche Welle. "The UFO phenomenon is a global phenomenon; there are unquestionably sightings all around the world so all European countries will certainly have had UFO sightings."

Germany is one of the many European countries which have not declassified their UFO files. In fact, the German government refuses to even admit that it has any UFO files despite the fact that independent organizations record, on average, between 50 and 100 sightings a year in the skies over Germany.

Germany among those remaining silent on UFO phenomena

"Germany has a high level of UFO sightings," Robert Fleischer, the coordinator for the German Initiative for Exopolitics, told Deutsche Welle.

He said that, since 1974, over 500 so-called "real" UFO cases - reported sightings that, after careful consideration by specialized experts, cannot be related to any conventional information - have been recorded.

"However, there has never been any official recognition by the German government relating to UFOs or UFO activity," Fleischer added. "So if the Germans were to open any files relating to UFOs, all we would find out is that they pass all their information to the Americans."

Most UFO cases reported over Germany were only revealed when US files were made public. Germany's lack of UFO research is possibly due to the fact that "the US assumed that role after the end of World War II, although the Germans have never officially acknowledged this or any interest in UFOs," he said.

European governments aware of unexplained sightings

So what do the files made public by the likes of France and Britain actually tell the public about the UFO phenomenon in Europe?

"What these files don't say is almost more important than what they do say," said Nick Pope. "What they don't say is that we have proof that any of these things are extra-terrestrial. What they do say is that European governments have consistently had these things reported to them, sometimes by reliable witnesses such as police officers and pilots."

Most of the sightings turn out to have conventional explanations, like the misidentification of all kinds of aeronautical and astronomical phenomena, but most European governments which have conducted investigations have found that about five percent of the cases cannot be explained, added Pope.

While neither Nick Pope nor Robert Fleischer could guarantee that the initial European declassifications would eventually pressure all EU governments into opening their files, they both agreed that the revelations made public by those countries willing to divulge information could only improve research into a phenomenon that they believe is an issue for every nation.

Partial declassification giving subject more credibility

"I think this disclosure will lead to a greater understanding of the UFO phenomenon," said Pope. "The release of these files shows that governments do have information and if they liaise with each other, we may get further down the line to explaining this mystery because they all have a little piece of the puzzle. Unfortunately liaison is not common in this field."

However, the declassification may be discrediting some common UFO myths and lend credibility to sighting claims.

"When you read about sightings in governmental files from all around Europe with testimonies from military pilots, commercial airline pilots, and radar reports which show these things performing maneuvers and speeds that are way beyond our capabilities, it changes the nature of the debate from an underground anomaly to a mainstream issue," said Pope,"and that has to be a good thing."

A strange halo cloud over Moscow had many in the Russian capital expecting a close encounter last Wednesday.

Millions witnessed an ominous ring-shaped cloud appear over Moscow’s western districts, prompting citizens to stop in their tracks to record the phenomenon and put it on YouTube.

The bizarre sight has taken the Internet by storm, so to speak.

However, scientists from the city’s weather forecast service dispelled fears of extra terrestrials landing in Red Square, saying the event was strictly environmental.

“It’s a purely optical effect, even if a spectacular one. You can see really strange things if you watch the clouds regularly,” weather officials told Russia’s Vesti 24. “Several air fronts have passed Moscow recently, including an inflow of cold air from the Arctic, and they combined to produce such a phenomenon.”

This recently posted video was stumbled upon and apparently has very little accompanying information as to who, what or where. Kind of makes you wonder, if this is a wormhole then someone out there wants you and I to see it but wishes to keep his or her job and is not saying anything more.
