UFOs offer new energy sources, advanced knowledge?

Some people who are curious about reports of extraterrestrial and/or extra-dimensional visitors to Earth have recently noted that advanced energy technologies related to the UFO phenomena could be helpful for us now.

Advocates of this view say national security issues associated with certain foreign oil sources, stress on our economies, effects of related pollution, global climate change and other disadvantages of conventional energy-producing methods indicate that we should explore possible exotic technologies associated with UFOs.

There seems to be agreement across a broad sector of scientists, government officials and others that new, advanced, emerging and leading-edge energy technologies are needed. Solar power, wind turbines, geothermal energy and many other approaches are being explored.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is providing funding for the development of jet fuel from algae. The new federal activity called the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E) is also poised to lead the way in these areas.

Certain UFO researchers say that if it is true that we might have some insight into advanced energy technologies obtained over the years from visitors to our planet from elsewhere, then it seems wise to begin higher-tech development of these kinds of resources – if we can figure them out.

EXOTIC TECHNOLOGY PIPELINE

For most Americans and people internationally, it remains unproven that there have actually been, or are currently, visitors to Earth from extraterrestrial and/or extra-dimensional locations.

Some researchers in this field, however, claim that legitimate evidence exists strongly indicating that this is the case. Thorough and effective programs of security and confidentiality on this situation have been going on for decades, they say.

Additionally, some who have researched these topics state that certain technologies actually have been discreetly released to private industry over the years.

If this is true, then the pipeline of knowledge about energy technology from such unconventional sources might also be opening up soon.

Of course, it is quite a leap to go from claims of UFO researchers to thinking about practical applications in our energy grid and everyday lives.

Yet, there may be a continuum of intermediaries between those two points that are facilitating the flow and transfer of advanced exotic technologies for practical use today.

Assuming for a minute that there might be some truth to this scenario, shouldn’t we modify security protocols and decades-long habits of secrecy on this topic somewhat to optimize any technical or other knowledge that might be useful?

Although understanding and applying advanced energy technologies would be worthwhile goals, we might also wonder what other benefits we might access if it were true that visitors from elsewhere could be helpful for the human race.

COMPLEX AND SENSITIVE

Could there be tremendous medical advances, such as the current DARPA-funded project to regrow human tissue, including the limbs of our troops severely injured in war?

Could we globally mitigate human poverty, hunger, disease, overpopulation, homelessness, natural resources degradation and other problems by applying new knowledge?

If, as some physicists theorize, there may be other unseen dimensions in the “multiverse” around us, what new insights might we achieve by following up on these concepts using advanced understanding from exotic visitors?

Of course, a greater awareness and acceptance by people that we have been, and are now being visited by advanced (and possibly quite different) kinds of intelligent civilizations would be a bit of a shock to many.

At the same time, people who seem to believe that this is the case would say, “I told you so.” However, even they, too, may find certain aspects of this situation uncomfortable, troubling or worrisome.

Some researchers in this field have warned that it all might not be so wonderful. Do we know that all extraterrestrial and/or extra-dimensional visitors would be friendly and have our best interests at heart? No. In fact, there seem to be serious concerns about this.

Such a situation involving multiple kinds of visitors could involve a complexity and sensitivity similar to our human interactions on Earth among friendly nations and groups, allies, adversaries, culture conflicts, competition as well as military, intelligence and security activities.

If there was any truth to ideas of this kind of visitation to Earth, it probably would involve many or all of these elements too.

Optimizing energy technologies from such a situation might be a relatively small part of the overall challenges involved.

England: UFO spotted in South Harrow

A mysterious light in the skies above South Harrow has been captured on film by an amateur photographer.

The unidentified flying object appeared through the clouds at about 7.45pm on March 31 and was snapped by computer network engineer Ahmad Zaigham.

Mr Zaigham posted the picture on website Flickr where he said that he had spotted the alien ship out his window.

He said: "The light coming from this thing is something I have never seen the like. I don't think any aircraft has a light like this.

"And moments after this shot the object seemed to quickly fade in light and travel above at high speed. I did not hear any loud sound but I did hear a whistle kind of sound. I am still shocked."

Mr Zaigham said he may pass the picture on to Nasa.

Few UFO cases receive widespread media attention - those that make it to network coverage are mostly limited to cases with a combination of multiple witnesses and clear video footage. Much of that coverage is done with a sense of amusement.

American media seems to report louder and stronger though when a UFO hoax is revealed, especially after original reports described a mystery. As the recent Morristown, NJ, sightings became clear April 1 that it was all a hoax - a strong parade of mainstream media chimed in - including rather discouraging and weak reporting from a Newsweek blog.

But long before April Fool's Day, America's leading group of ufologists - the Mutual UFO Network - had already dismissed the case as a hoax, and in fact had discovered the two men who carried out the deed.

While the Morris County Daily Record in January mentioned that "Agents Mulder and Scully were not needed," it appears that the a very real "Agent Scully" might just have investigated and solved the case.

Among the MUFON "heroes," was STAR Team member Kristen Ann Winslet - a field investigator who works the north New Jersey beat. While the broadcast and print media is free to call upon MUFON for a case evaluation - no one called.

Reached at her New Jersey home Tuesday, Winslet detailed for The Examiner her investigation process and the case timeline.

The story unfolded over time for Winslet as multiple and seemingly related sightings were logged into the MUFON UFO content management system (CMS) reporting database - something anyone can do when they have a UFO encounter. The public simply logs their reports at the group's web site at mufon.com. Winslet was asked by MUFON headquarters to examine this case immediately and to create a report on her findings. Those findings were assembled into a written report finalized on March 15, 2009.

The following is just a portion of Winslet's report for MUFON (with only minor edits), titled "MUFON STAR Team Case Study, 'UFO Balloons,' March 15, 2009."

Beginning on September 13, 2008, a series of ‘UFO Balloon’ sightings took place in the Morris County, N.J. area. One event made the 6 o’clock news on CBS in NYC.

The disposition of these cases were proven to be ‘Hoax - Events’ as defined in the MUFON Field Investigator handbook. It was concluded that ‘Incendiary Devices’ carried aloft by ‘Balloons’ otherwise known as ‘UFO Balloons’ were the objects witnessed in all four cases.

There were two additional events identified on Wikipedia “Morristown UFO” where no MUFON CMS cases were reported which occurred in January.

A Summary of the Cases are as Follows:

Event #1 (09/13/08): Bernardsville, N.J. - Case#12461, (determined to be a test), (4 to 5 Objects Sighted).

Event #2 (01/05/09): Morristown, N.J. - Case# 14785, 14787, 14789, 14811, 15167, (5 Objects Sighted).

Event #3 (02/07/09): Morris Plains, N.J. - Case# 15389, 15391, 15392, (3 Objects Sighted).

Event #4 (02/17/09): Denville, N.J. - Case# 15559, 15577, (7 to 9 Objects Sighted).

The Facts of these Cases:

1.) Each event occurred in the Early Evening at about 20:30 Hrs EDT (1).

2.) The same type of objects, (lights) were witnessed in each event (3 to 5 objects) (2).

3.) No sound could be heard from these objects, (lights).

4.) The altitude of the objects, (lights) were roughly 500ft.

5.) The objects, (lights) were red and they flickered as if they were incendiary devices.

6.) The objects, (lights) drifted slowly as if taken by the winds.

7.) The objects, (lights) began to descend as they apparently extinguished, (flames).

8.) Each object, (light) appeared to be independent from the others.

9.) First sighting appeared in southern Morris County. The preceding cases were reported to occur one by one following a northerly tract along a ridge overlooking Interstate 287 & US Highway Route #202, (see map on the next slide).

(1) The first event occurred during daylight savings time.
(2) The fourth event reported 9 objects spotted.

Event #1: September 13, 2008 (Bernardsville, N.J.) - Gathering the Evidence

South of Morristown, N.J. in the small rural town of Bernardsville, a witness files a case in the MUFON CMS sighting 4 to 5 strange red lights on what appeared to be balloons early in the evening of September 13, 2008.

The objects seemed to disappear one by one as they rose into the autumn evening sky without any sound. Five witnesses to the sighting were said to have seen the event based on the only report that was filed in the MUFON CMS, (The names of the other four witnesses were not provided).

Witness 1: David TenBarge - David owns an Advertising/Marketing Firm called BluePrint, Inc. His e-mail address is: dtenbarge@blueprint.com. (NOTE: The YouTube account was later created as “bluestarluv80” - the word "blue" appeared in both David's email address and the YouTube account name.)

* David TenBarge did ‘NOT’ recognize my name when I tried to connect to him on Linked-In, (www.linkedin.com) after I investigated his case. He did not reply to my second attempt to contact him in March, 2009 either.

Event #2: January 5, 2009 (Morristown, N.J.)

CBS Evening News in New York City reports five strange red lights over the eastern Morris County, N.J. area on the six o’clock news broadcast on January 6, 2009 with video provided by witness Paul Hurley.

Paul Hurley is a Pilot and works out of the Morristown Municipal Airport. “The objects did not have a radar image and did not interfere with air traffic in the area.”

Witnesses in the surrounding municipalities called police on 911 lines reporting strange lights in the sky from Cedar Knolls which is just east of Morris Plains to Madison, New Jersey, (Southeast of Morristown).

Five sighting reports were filed in the MUFON CMS over the following few days following this event.

Event #2: January 5, 2009 (Morris Plains/Morristown, N.J.)

Witness 1: Steve Salerno - Steve reported the case with video footage. Steve later identified himself as Joe Rudy: jrudy80@gmail.com. (Note the "80" in Joe's email address and the YouTube account name of "“bluestarluv80.”

Event #2: Field Work & Photographic Evidence

As a result of the January 5th sightings, (Event #2) being publicized in the news, the investigation became a STAR Team deployment. I was assigned the case and began investigating in the area which was identified as the suspected debris location based on a witness report.

Two witness reports were filed in the MUFON CMS over the following days after this event.

Event #4: February 17, 2009 (Rockaway/Denville, N.J.)

For a forth time reports strange red lights were sighted over the eastern Morris County, N.J. area this time in the Rockaway/Denville, N.J. area.

Two witness reports were filed in the MUFON CMS over the following days after this event.

Case Disposition

Events #1 - 4: “Hoax - Event”

It was concluded that the four events reported in the MUFON CMS are all related and most likely were perpetrated by the same individual or group of individuals. While an attempt was made to try to identify the suspect(s) in these cases, no solid or substantiating evidence was collected to be able make any claim. Some of the relationships pointed out here are intriguing.

L.A. Times (April 5, 2009) only tells half of the story about Area 51

Here is the latest article on Area 51 which appeared on L.A. Times on April 5, 2009:

However, the article only addresses half of the story about Area 51, i.e., the significance of the base during the Cold War era.
Yes, we must not neglect the past and the sacrifices that our hard-working engineers and pilots made in order to maintain our technological superiority during those epoch.

As excellently written as it was, the article neglects to address the contemporary significance of the expanding complex at Groom Lake.

Today, however, (as everyone knows by now), it is obvious from recent satellite imagery that Area 51 is expanding. There is a humongous new hangar which had been under construction at the South Ramp since 2007.
Not only has there been constructions of new water towers, more storage buildings, newer and shorter runways and taxiways but also what appears to be a significant, multi-functional tall tower which is clearly visible through satellite imagery.
There is no doubt that newer generations of remotely-controlled platforms (UAVs and UCAVs) are being tested, in addition to new generations of stealth technologies and other innovative programs.
Newer radar technologies and their applications are also becoming more vital and important as ever at Area 51.

Here is an interesting item relating to ISIS (Integrated Sensor is the Structure), a topic which has been discussed recently among many aerospace watchers. Its possible relevance to Area 51 may become apparent.

UFOs in the Bible

(..) I came across a History Channel special entitled "UFOs in the Bible." It is one of the UFO Files series episodes, and the description from the History.com website reads:

"Journey back through time into the mysterious history of UFOs as revealed through ancient biblical texts. Through intensive reinterpretation of early religious documents, researchers believe that they have found evidence of ancient UFO activity. From Elijah's flying "chariots of fire" and Ezekiel's "wheels within wheels in the sky" to the enigmatic aerial phenomenon that lead Moses during the Exodus, we apply a modern perspective to the writings of the Bible in the context of UFOs."

I am not attributing any truth to this, I merely came across it and thought it was interesting and out there. The Bible is fascinating and out there already, even for one who struggles to believe it. To bring in an alien angle makes me laugh, I think I will rewatch the history channel episode, this time on the forefront and not the background.

In the meantime, I will just share some of the things I overheard, though not in great detail. There seems to be a lot of precedence given to flying objects of the Old Testament, and even some instances in the New Testament.

My favorite that I overheard involved Moses and the Israelites exodus, and his time atop the mount inside a spaceship. I wish I had heard more about this version in some of my Bible studies and classes, this would have made for some great debate and conversation. I really don't have much more to share beyond this, I just thought it was interesting, and that it could be interesting to see what response this could bring out.

O'Hare UFO video shooter speaks out

The recent O'Hare Airport Youtube video shooter says he stands behind the authenticity of his capture - and wants to offer more proof.

Username Ohareufowitness responded to my request for an interview since the video posted March 21, 2009, created more controversy than evidence. You can read my original story from March 24 here.

After the first UFO video was posted, he also uploaded a second video from another source which purports to be a video shot on the same day.

And a third video was recently posted which shows an image supposedly shot from inside an aircraft at O'Hare on the same day.

He continues to remain anonymous though.

The following interview was conducted, at his request, through messages sent through youtube. His answers are unedited. We have asked for a copy of the original video to be given to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) for analysis.

OHAREUFOWITNESS: Here's the exclusive interview as promised. Sorry i've only just got round to answering your questions but i've been swamped with messages from all over the world, including t.v, radio, newspapers, mags, websites, etc. I decided to give Roger the exclusive, simply because he was the first to ask, and because I'm sick of big media companies thinking they should get it first, just because they have lots of green coloured pieces of paper!!!, other people are just as important.

EXAMINER: Where were you filming from?
OHAREUFOWITNESS: I was at some distance from the airport, and remember I was filming at 4xdigital zoom, but I was facing Concourse C as far as I can remember.

EXAMINER: Details as far as height and distance away from being directly under it.
OHAREUFOWITNESS: O, I was roughly 100 meters away from the saucer, UFO looked to be be at a height of 750 feet from the ground. The reason I got the incredible angle I got, was because I was stood on a wall with my camera held at arm's length, held high above my head and I was filming at full zoom of 4x.

EXAMINER: How long did you observe it? Is this all the footage you have?
OHAREUFOWITNESS: I just turned around Roger and it was there, I observed it for 2 minutes. I only got 1 miute of film because my cell phone memory was full.

EXAMINER: How many people were with you , around looking at it?
OHAREUFOWITNESS: I was alone but I could see about 7 other people in the distance all with cell phones going bonkers, shouting, so others must have footage and pics. One guy had what looked like a camcorder???

EXAMINER: Do you know of any one else with footage or photos?
OHAREUFOWITNESS: The other people I know with footage and photos, contacted me through youtube after I came forward, I have met these 2 witnesses and posted their evidence, all I can say is that they seemed like credible men. I've had other people contact me, and I have arranged meetings to view their evidence, if it's credible and they check out, and they let me post the footage, I will.

EXAMINER: Which direction were you facing?
OHAREUFOWITNESS: I was facing Concourse C.

EXAMINER: What was weather condition like?
OHAREUFOWITNESS: Weather was overcast, cloudy, but with some breaks in the clouds, where blue sky could be seen, thats why the clip looks like it does.

EXAMINER: How light was it at that time?
OHAREUFOWITNESS: sky could be seen, thats why the clip looks like it does.

EXAMINER: What model phone camera was it that you used?
OHAREUFOWITNESS: The phone was a Samsung SGH-D900 3 Megapixel camera phone.

EXAMINER: Did you zoom in on it?
OHAREUFOWITNESS: Filming all the time at 4x digital zoom.

EXAMINER: Describe the characteristic of the object as far as color, shape, motion, sound, anything.
OHAREUFOWITNESS: UFO looked gigantic, hazy, dark, metallic, silent, cigar/saucer shaped, frozen still. Then it shot off upwards after 2 minutes at what I would estimate to be 30-40,000 mph.

EXAMINER: Did you run into more people since then that claim to have seen it, have photos, or video footage?
OHAREUFOWITNESS: Only people I have run into with o'hare UFO claims are through youtube since I came forward.

EXAMINER: Would you talk to Sam Maranto who investigated this case with NARCAP?
OHAREUFOWITNESS: I refuse to get involved with skeptics/debunkers/researchers/believers. People can think what the hell they like, no way am I throwing myself to the dogs, so they can all attack my credibility, I've had enough of this on youtube since I came forward. It is what it is, think what they want, but trust me, my footage is genuine, and shows a real UFO. Lots of people are now trying to debunk the other 2 pieces of evidence, but they cant get an exact match on the clouds on the extraterrestrial tourists clip, which proves it's real, and I cant wait for the sorry ass excuses regarding captain Smiths 35mm photo.

EXAMINER: Can a better copy be sent to him for evaluation?
OHAREUFOWITNESS: I will consider sending a better copy of my clip, this will be to you Roger, I will let you know soon, probably will actually to have it looked at by experts to shut the debunkers up.

OHAREUFOWITNESS: One woman contacted me who says she saw a green reptilian man with glowing red eyes on that day, she says he evaporated before her very eyes at the airport.

One man says he saw a beautiful blue woman dressed in a black cat suit, complete with weapons belt and a laser gun in one of the airport toilets on that day, he said she was holding a long silver tube with 3 red lights on it, she pushed one and vanished, he claims he sufferd physical effects after this.

A man says he is a doctor and that he was boarding an aircraft, and he witnessed a dark saucer pop in and out of the clouds for a few brief seconds on that day.

Anyway roger, I have no way of proving these claims, I have told them to come forward.

"Since I posted my video clip, I have been contacted through You Tube by many, many people. One guy sent me his telephone number and over a detailed conversation he told me that he had also witnessed and filmed a UFO at the airport on the same day, and on Wednesday 25th I met up with him, he seemed like a credible and honest man, and I have no reason to doubt his claims.

"He told me that he has never come forward because he does not want to be the subject of ridicule, and he does not want to be involved with the media, UFO researchers and UFO fanatics, and who can blame him?, just look at the reaction I have received in less than a week. He told me that on November 7th 2006 he was at Chicago O'hare International Airport when he saw a huge Flying Saucer, he said he grabbed his cell phone and started filming the UFO, he witnessed the Flying Saucer hovering for 1 minute over the airport after which time he said it just simply vanished before his very eyes. He said that after 45 seconds his cell phone suddenly cut off and went dead, which he cant explain as it was fully charged. He said that the UFO was a huge, silent, dark, hazy, saucer-shaped, metallic craft. He thinks that several different UFO'S were witnessed that day as his sighting was at 4.28 p:m, and he believes that the true, full story has still yet to be told.

"He has decided to share his stunning evidence with the world, and here it is, he wishes to remain anonymous, and wants to simply get on with his life without any hassle. The sound from his clip has been removed to protect his identity as he can be clearly heard speaking. After over 2 years, is the truth regarding the Chicago O'hare UFO incident finally coming to light??? I met up with a Pilot on Saturday 28th and he had this to say.

"On November 7th 2006 we had just left Chicago O'hare Airport, roughly 10 minutes into the flight at 3:45 p.m we were cruising smoothly at 37,000 feet when suddenly our attention was drawn to a dark, solid, wingless, cigar/disc shaped UFO which suddenly appeared in our view through the cockpit window. The UFO was dangerously close and roughly 100 feet in diameter. We immediately contacted Air Traffic Control, but was told that no unknown object was being picked up on radar. Myself the captain, my co-pilot and a flight attendant all observed the UFO for 1 minute before it shot off at incredible speed, the quick thinking flight attendant reached for his 35 mm camera and took several photographs of the UFO. We decided we would keep our story to ourselves, but are now ready to disclose it to the public".

I had an expert look at the photos and he concluded that they were genuine, and that the UFO is at some distance from the aircraft.

Grant Cameron became involved in Ufology in 1975 with personal sightings of an object which locally became known as Charlie Red Star. The sightings occurred in Carman, Manitoba. In the past few years Cameron has turned his research interests to the involvement and actions of the President of the United States in the UFO problem. He has made 20+ trips to the National Archives and most of the various Presidential archives looking for presidential UFO material.

One highlight of his presidential UFO research was the chance to question Vice-President Dick Cheney on his knowledge of the UFO subject. Another highlight of the presidential UFO research was a FOIA to the White House Office of Science and Technology which yielded 1,000 pages of UFO documents from the Clinton administration. At present Cameron is awaiting almost 100 FOIA requests from the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Arkansas, related to the UFO related actions and policies inside the two Presidential terms of Bill Clinton.


UFO researcher and author Grant Cameron presented stories and documentation of U.S. Presidents and their involvement with UFO phenomena. He also discussed various presidential candidates and their UFO related experiences. Many of the current candidates, when asked about UFOs are issuing a standard response, he noted. For instance, after Dennis Kucinich was asked about his UFO sighting, he said that yes, UFOs are real, but he doesn't believe they are related to ETs traveling here.

Bill and Hillary Clinton were especially fascinated by UFOs, said Cameron, who has been studying documents recently released from the Clinton Library. In a speech Bill Clinton made in Hong Kong in 2005, he said that if secret documents about UFOs at Roswell and Area 51 do exist, they'd been concealed from him. Cameron speculated that secrets could be kept compartmentalized in black budget programs. Secrecy is maintained because there is fear if the truth got out there'd be a "market meltdown," he said, adding that Kissinger reportedly called UFOs "the biggest hot potato of all time."

The tale that Nixon showed Jackie Gleason alien bodies in the back of a hanger at Homestead AFB was confirmed by Gleason's wife, Cameron reported. He also shared that Einstein purportedly sent a letter to Truman, asking him to rescind his UFO shootdown policy in 1952.
